Delores Ann Jasper, 80, of Madison, V A, was called home by the Lord on Thursday, July 30, 2026, at the Mountain View Nursing Home. Ann, as she was known to everyone, was born on March 1, 1946, to the late Coolidge (Rufus) H. Jasper, Sr. and Sarah E. Jasper.

During her youth, she attended Madison Elementary and George Washington Carver High School in Culpeper, V A. She was baptized and became a member of Swift Ford Baptist Church in June 1988 under the late Reverend James Burrell. She was an active choir member
and secretary of Sunday School for many years. Delores started her career at Wrangler/Bluebell,
where she was a devoted employee for 30+ years until the company’s closing. With her newfound free time, you could find her babysitting her grandsons, watching her favorite soap operas, and traveling the roads with her sisters, Beulah and Barbara. Where you saw one Jasper sister, you saw the other. Delores Ann was most famously known for her sweet potato pies and
pound cakes, her quick way with words, and her unforgettable smile.

In addition to her parents, Delores Ann is preceded in death by her brother and sister, Coolidge H. (June) Jasper, Jr. and Reva B. Jasper. She is survived by her son, Darell Jasper of Madison, VA; four grandsons, Devon Messineo, Drew Messineo, Nick Messineo, and Trevor Nicholson of Madison, V A; two sisters, Beulah E. Jasper and Barbara J. Arrington, all of
Madison, VA; and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, church family, and friends.
