While all equine-assisted learning models offer guidance on supporting the human participants we work with, the Equi Evolution model expands the learning to ensure EVERYONE feels supported in the space.

When we don’t hold consideration for the horses’ experience, we may likely be asking our students to perpetuate similar cycles of oppression they have experienced.

When we don’t hold consideration for ourselves, we risk burnout and bringing inauthentic energy into the space.

But when we realize we all have needs that deserve to be met, and requiring accommodations doesn’t make us less deserving of compassion, we can create a space that deeply honors safety in a way the nervous system can truly understand.

For an animal so many people view as a symbol of freedom, it sure is curious how tiny the boxes are that we keep freedom locked inside

Everything comes back to mindfulness.

Sharing space with 1000 lbs of muscle and intentionality is no mundane task. When we move through the world with these animals their inherent being demands that we pay attention, stay aware, and respond appropriately.

While humans will scream self-awareness from the rooftops, most of our behavior is actually projections influenced by our own experiences and biases. So when a horse kicks out at us we don’t see their fear, we see our own, often reacting with anger rather than understanding.

When we make space to see the behaviors without our own stories, we expand our awareness and can better hold space for both our horses and ourselves.

An absolutely perfect night at our October workshop “Letters to the Fire.” 🔥 🌕

We shared space with ponies, and one another, as we explored what it means to prepare for seasons ahead and how we can support ourselves on that journey.

✨ NEW CLASS: "Rawdog the Barnyard" held the 1st Saturday of the month @ 10 am

✨ Yoga will not be running this month, but will instead be replaced by a Wellness with Horses class on Sunday 11/15 @ 10 am

✨ Join us Nov. 28 for a fun and unique mindfulness workshop "Exploring the place I'm in"

All regular classes are free for Farm Members.
