is here! 🩷🎗️

Taking care of your health starts with taking time for yourself. A mammogram is an important step in staying proactive about your breast health. For women at average risk for breast cancer, annual mammograms are recommended starting at age 40.

If you’re due for your screening, now is a great time to schedule it.

Know someone who may be due for a mammogram? Share this post and help remind the women in your life to prioritize their breast health, too.

Cancer can affect far more than a person’s physical health – it can also change relationships, roles, routines, and the ways we connect with the people we love.

Alex Huffman, LCSW, OSW-C, CST, Director of Supportive Care and Integrative Oncology, recently shared her expertise in an Imerman Angels resource guide on navigating relationships after a cancer diagnosis.

From changes in friendships and romantic relationships to dating, family dynamics, and the challenges caregivers may experience, Alex offers thoughtful guidance on communicating needs, setting boundaries, asking for support, and finding connection during and after cancer treatment.
