A high protein breakfast can help your brain, which helps overall productivity. Eggs are often a quick choice for me. Peanut butter on sourdough with a pinch of Celtic salt is a delicious addition. Simple meal choices allow for consistency. Simple is sustainable.

Any listening to the Lindsey Clancy trial this week? It has highlighted the needs of women. It is beginning the highlight the needs that are not broad enough around supporting women, mothers, children and even gaps in the mental health field. The gaps are from my studies in many areas and medical fields that support mental health concerns. This is not a new concern of mine, but wanted to speak on this during this time.

In addition, it you have had PPD, or find the case too much, please protect yourself as it is highly upsetting and triggering for people.

Please do your research about what your city provides and what your needs may be.

Finding a therapist that meets the needs you are looking for is essential. Graduating from a program and beginning doesn’t make you an expert and neither does taking a side class or counseling for years. There are many excellent therapists. Just as with anything know what you are looking for! I have said this for decades. Be very picky when looking for a counselor.
