Garrett Funeral Home has loved being part of this year’s May Blitz! 🌼💛

Over the past few weeks, our team has had the opportunity to visit local businesses, healthcare providers, community spaces, and organizations throughout the area to deliver flowers, sweet treats, and a little encouragement along the way.

What started as a simple gesture has turned into something much more meaningful — new friendships, stronger community connections, and countless moments of kindness shared with the people who make our community so special.

Over the past two days, the Garrett Funeral Home team has had the privilege of visiting many of the wonderful businesses, healthcare providers, organizations, and community leaders that help make our area so special. 💐

From Damascus to Konnarock and throughout the surrounding communities, we were welcomed with smiles and kindness everywhere we stopped. We enjoyed reconnecting with familiar faces at Damascus Senior Citizens, Abingdon Health & Rehab, English Meadows Assisted Living, Holston Family Health Clinic, Konnarock Family Health Center, Damascus Public Library, Caris Hospice, Fisher Hollow Vet Clinic, Damascus Town Hall, and the Bank of Damascus.

We also had the pleasure of spending time with residents, caregivers, librarians, healthcare workers, veterinary staff, public servants, and so many others who serve our community each day with compassion and dedication. Special moments included visiting with Marie Harris enjoying the sunshine on the porch at English Meadows and meeting Diddums, the adorable special guest at Fisher Hollow Vet Clinic. 🐾

Thank you to everyone who took time to visit with us and for all you do to care for, support, and strengthen our community every single day. We are grateful to call this place home. ❤️
