49 STATES. 25 COUNTRIES. 6 CONTINENTS.

And one shared goal: helping people look and feel their best.

From Danville, California, to patients around the world.

During my recent appearance on KRON4’s Live! in the Bay, I shared something that makes me incredibly proud.

At Elite MD, we’ve had the privilege of welcoming patients from 49 states, 25 countries, and 6 continents.

What started as a vision to bring dermatology, lasers, plastic surgery, and aesthetic innovation together has grown into a destination for personalized care.

From facials to advanced laser treatments, facial rejuvenation to body contouring, our philosophy has always been the same.

Science. Artistry. Innovation. Individualized care.

But here’s what means the most to me.

It’s not how far people travel.

It’s the TRUST they place in our team.

And that is something we never take for granted.

To every patient who has trusted us with their care, whether you’re down the street or across the world, THANK YOU.

We’re proud to call Danville, California, home.

And we’re just getting started.

Have you ever traveled for a medical or aesthetic treatment?

Shannon Beador just revealed the ONE treatment she says made the biggest difference in her face.

A LOWER FACELIFT.

And it brings up something I discuss with patients all the time.

As we age, especially after 50, the jawline, jowls, and neck can begin to change.

And here’s what many people don’t realize.

Skincare and lasers can improve skin quality, but they can’t always correct significant facial sagging.

That’s where lower facial rejuvenation may come in.

And here’s another thing that surprises patients.

Some lower facelifts can now be performed AWAKE, using local anesthesia, with or without sedation.

At Elite MD, our plastic surgery team offers awake facial rejuvenation for appropriate candidates.

No general anesthesia for selected procedures.
Personalized treatment plans.
Natural-looking results are the goal.

Of course, not everyone is a candidate, and recovery varies depending on the procedure.

The goal isn’t to look 25 again.

It’s to look refreshed, confident, and like YOURSELF.

Want better skin? START WITH THIS.

As a board-certified dermatologist, I can tell you that glowing, healthy skin doesn’t come from a 10-step routine or the latest viral beauty trend.

It starts with 3 simple rules.

1. START EARLY.
Prevention is easier than correction. Protect your skin before the damage appears.
2. KEEP IT SIMPLE.
You don’t need more products. You need the RIGHT products for your skin.
3. BE CONSISTENT.
Great skin isn’t built overnight. It’s the small things you do every single day that make the biggest difference.

But here’s what most people forget.

Your skin is a reflection of your overall health.

On KRON4’s Live! in the Bay, I shared my 5 pillars of healthy aging.

BRAIN: Manage stress and protect your mental well-being.

BODY: Prioritize sleep, nutrition, and movement.

HEART: Nurture meaningful relationships and connections.

SKIN: Protect your skin barrier, wear SPF, and support collagen health.

HAIR: Take care of your scalp and address thinning early.

The secret to aging beautifully?

It’s not about doing MORE.

It’s about doing the RIGHT things, consistently.

Which of these 3 rules do you struggle with most?

GLASS SKIN IS TRENDING. But is it actually healthy?

As a board-certified dermatologist, here’s what I want you to know.

Social media has made flawless, poreless, ultra-shiny skin the new beauty standard.

But REAL skin has pores. REAL skin has texture.

And chasing perfection can actually damage your skin.

Here’s what I see too often.

Too many products.
Too many exfoliating acids.
Too many active ingredients.
A compromised skin barrier.

And if you have skin of color, irritation can trigger hyperpigmentation that takes months to fade.

My advice?

STOP chasing glass skin. START building healthy skin.

You don’t need a 10-step routine.

You need 4 essentials:

1. CLEANSE with a gentle, non-stripping cleanser.
2. TREAT with targeted ingredients based on your skin concerns.
3. HYDRATE with a barrier-supporting moisturizer.
4. PROTECT with broad-spectrum SPF 30+ every morning.

The secret isn’t MORE skincare.

It’s the RIGHT skincare, consistently.

DERM SECRETS: It’s NEVER just one treatment.

Here’s what most people don’t understand about beautiful, healthy, youthful-looking skin.

It’s not one miracle cream.
It’s not one laser.
It’s not one injectable.
And it’s definitely not the latest viral beauty trend.

The secret is COMBINATION THERAPY.

As a board-certified dermatologist, I approach skin rejuvenation with a comprehensive plan.

Medical-grade skincare to address pigmentation, protect the skin barrier, and maintain results.

Laser resurfacing to improve texture, sun damage, fine lines, and stimulate collagen remodeling.

Targeted treatments when appropriate to address volume loss, laxity, or other concerns.

And most importantly, CONSISTENCY.

The magic isn’t in doing more procedures.

It’s knowing WHAT to combine, WHEN to treat, and WHO is the right candidate.

Your skin is unique. Your treatment plan should be too.

At Elite MD, we believe in personalized treatment plans that address the whole picture, not just one concern.

What’s your biggest skin concern right now? Pigmentation, wrinkles, texture, or sagging?

Tell me below.

Your skin doesn’t need MORE skincare. It needs the RIGHT care.

We have been conditioned to believe that glowing, youthful skin comes from buying more serums, layering more products, and following the latest beauty trends.

But here’s what I tell my patients.

Healthy skin isn’t built overnight, and it doesn’t come from a 10-step routine.

I recently joined KRON4’s Live! in the Bay to share why a true skin reset goes beyond skincare.

I believe in 5 pillars of healthy aging.

1. BRAIN: Manage stress and protect your mental well-being.
2. BODY: Prioritize sleep, movement, and nutrition.
3. HEART: Nurture meaningful relationships and connections.
4. SKIN: Protect your skin barrier, prevent sun damage, and support collagen health.
5. HAIR: Pay attention to your scalp and address thinning early.

The biggest mistake? Expecting one expensive product or procedure to reverse years of damage.

Healthy aging isn’t about doing everything.

It’s about doing the RIGHT things consistently.

As a dermatologist, my mission is to cut through the beauty noise and help you make smarter decisions for your skin and overall health.

Which of these 5 pillars needs the biggest RESET in your life?

I’m a dermatologist, and I’m rating viral beauty procedures from 1 to 10.

Some I love. Some I would NEVER recommend.

Baby Botox? Subtle, natural results when done correctly.

Awake facelift? A promising option for the right candidate, but not everyone qualifies.

Injections in hotel rooms? HARD NO. Your face deserves a qualified medical professional and a safe medical setting.

Buccal fat removal? Think twice before permanently removing facial volume you may wish you had as you age.

Stacking procedures? More isn’t always better, especially when you’re combining treatments just because they’re trending.

After years of treating patients, here’s what I want everyone to understand.

Just because a procedure is popular doesn’t mean it’s right for YOU.

The goal isn’t to look overdone. It’s to look refreshed, confident, and like yourself.

At Elite MD, our dermatology and plastic surgery team believes in choosing the RIGHT treatment, not just the latest treatment.

Now tell me, which of these procedures would you actually consider?

And which one should I rate next?

Follow Dr. Sonia MD for honest beauty advice from your Derm BFF.

Your face is NOT a TikTok trend.

Just because a celebrity did it doesn’t mean YOU should.

Botox. Fillers. Lasers. Facelifts. The latest viral beauty treatments.

But here’s what I shared on KRON4’s Live! in the Bay.

The best treatment isn’t necessarily the newest, most expensive, or most popular.

It’s the one that’s right for YOUR skin, anatomy, age, and goals.

Sometimes Botox is the answer. Sometimes it’s a laser. Sometimes surgery is worth considering.

And sometimes the best advice is to do nothing at all.

At Elite MD, our board-certified dermatology and plastic surgery team works together to recommend the RIGHT treatment, not just a treatment.

Because beauty should be personalized, not copied.

What’s one beauty treatment you’ve been curious about but haven’t tried?

10/15/2026

“I want a facelift. But I’m terrified I won’t wake up.”

What if I told you that some facelifts can be performed while you’re AWAKE?

Yes, really.

One of the biggest fears patients have about plastic surgery isn’t the procedure itself. It’s going under general anesthesia.

Here’s what many people don’t realize.

For appropriately selected patients, certain facelift procedures can be performed using local anesthesia, sometimes with sedation.

But awake doesn’t mean risk-free, and it’s not the right choice for everyone.

The secret isn’t choosing the trendiest procedure. It’s choosing the RIGHT procedure for your face, your health, and your goals.

At Elite MD, we believe beautiful results begin with informed decisions.

Would you consider an awake facelift?

Comment AWAKE if you’d like to learn more about your options.

AI is changing everything. Including medicine and beauty.

From skincare advice to aesthetic treatments, artificial intelligence is moving faster than most people realize.

But here’s my question.

Just because AI CAN do something, does that mean it SHOULD?

Technology can be powerful. But when it comes to your face, your body, and your health, accuracy, safety, and human judgment still matter.

Are you excited about AI in beauty and medicine, or does it make you nervous?
