Jordan Funeral Home, Inc. announces the retirement of Mr. Fred Jordan, fondly known as "Mr. Fred", a dedicated staff member who served in various roles including Funeral Attendant, Notary, Removal Specialist, and respected community friend.

For more than 60 years, Mr. Fred provided compassionate assistance to families during their times of greatest need. His contributions have had a significant and lasting impact on the lives of many in Darlington County.

Mr. Fred’s professionalism, and unwavering support for grieving families have left a lasting impression on both the staff and the community. While his presence, guidance, and experience will be greatly missed, the organization extends its best wishes as he embarks on this new chapter.

The staff expresses sincere gratitude to Mr. Fred Jordan for his many years of exemplary service and for the compassionate legacy he leaves behind.

Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, at 12:00 NOON at Palmetto Baptist Church, 1104 Piano Rd, Florence, SC 29501.

Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Public viewing will be held on Monday, June 1, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Washington and Charlotte C. Jordan Memorial Chapel, 108 Lee Street, Darlington, SC 29532.

A celebration of life service will be held on Friday, June 5, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church, 400 South Main Street, Darlington, SC 29532.

Interment will follow at Mount Zion Baptist Church Cemetery, 3208 N Governor Williams Hwy, Darlington, SC 29540.

Public viewing will be on Thursday, June 4, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church, 400 South Main Street, Darlington, SC 29532.
