We are getting ready to place an Active Health Chiropractic T-shirt order in the next few days!

I have included a link at the bottom with the different shirt colors and sizes available. Each shirt will only cost 15 dollars so if you’d like one, just send me a direct message with the colors and sizes you want, and I’ll add it to the order at the end of the week!

Thanks for supporting Active Health Chiropractic β€” excited to get some more shirts out there!!

The most important part of recovering from tennis elbow is progressive strengthening.

My go-to exercises:

βœ”οΈ Wrist extensor stretch for flexibility
βœ”οΈ Eccentric kettlebell wrist extension
βœ”οΈ Weighted forearm rotation to strengthen the muscles involved in pronation and supination
βœ”οΈ Resistance band wrist extension and flexion with forearm rotation

Start with a resistance you can control at a slow speed and gradually increase the load as your symptoms improve.

πŸ’‘ Remember: Tendons get stronger by being appropriately loaded over time. While treatments like scraping and cupping may help prepare the tissues and improve comfort, a progressive strengthening program is what helps build long-term tendon capacity and resilience.

How I Use Soft Tissue Scraping for Tennis Elbow

This is one of the first steps I take when treating tennis elbow before moving on to strengthening exercises to help muscles and tendons for movement.

Some Potential Benefits Include:

* Reducing Pain Sensitivity
* Improving Comfort With More Movement
* Breaking Down Tightness In Forearm Muscles

Manual therapy is not the finish line but is the setup to get the ball rolling in the right direction by helping to improve pain and function before we progress into strengthening exercises.

If I had tennis elbow, here is exactly how I would start treating it. 🎾πŸ’ͺ

Over the next few days, I want to break down a couple of the different treatment options that I utilize in the office. That includes scraping, cupping, kinesiology tape, and some strengthening exercises.

Follow along if you're dealing with tennis elbow or just curious on how we treat this in our chiropractic office!
