Saturday Sunshine: Creating Your Own Light

☀️We were disappointed to hear the news this morning that today's 2026 NAMIWalks Montgomery County has been officially cancelled due to the weather. We were looking forward to attending and walking alongside everyone, but safety always comes first!

Even though the storm took away our outdoor plans today, it cannot take away our purpose. It is a perfect reminder that when we don't have sunshine from the weather, we can create our own sunshine from within.

Mindset is a daily practice, even on a rainy weekend. Today, let's pivot that energy toward checking in on a neighbor, practicing some quiet self-care, or simply taking a gentle pause.

Stay safe and keep shining, Montgomery County! 💜

Today is meeting day! If you are a women living with HIV, contact me to join a sisterhood of women that come together is a safe space to support, share, and empower. We meet every third Thursday of the month!
Our mystery woman behind the tshirt has never missed a meeting!

I’m thinking how much I enjoy hosting and spending time with Real POZ Women empowerment group. We provide a safe and welcoming space for women living with HIV to share, support, and be their authentic self.

REMINDER:

Happy Thursday! Today is thankful Thursday! I am thankful for being the founder & host of the Real POZ Women group that trust me to provide a space for their peer empowerment meetings. Today I have a gift for regular attendees that have been attending for years and rarely misses.

At Palmer Wellness, I love that our care goes way beyond just specialty care—we focus on well-being. It is incredibly rewarding to meet folks right in their safe spaces…where they don't have to leave the comfort of their homes or jobs. Many days seeing them in their element, surrounded by their pets and other support systems, makes this life's work feel so much more like a passion than a job. 🐾🐕🐈
