At Brookdale, we are blessed to have individuals who turn their own experiences into acts of kindness, compassion, and support for our residents and community. Their willingness to give back, spread awareness, and share their hearts reminds us that even through life’s hardest battles, there is always an opportunity to make a difference in someone else’s life.

These incredible survivors are more than warriors; they are inspirations, encouragers, and shining examples of what it means to live with purpose and love. We are so grateful for the beautiful impact they make on our Brookdale family.

Brookdale Cedar Springs has done it again… for the second year in a row, our community has won 1st Place in the Junior League of Morgan County Fall Scarecrow Contest. Each year, Morgan County hosts a community fundraising event to bring the Veterans Park to life with Fall Decor by hosting a Scarecrow Contest. Proceeds go to benefit various charities in the community. Brookdale Cedar Springs would like to thank the staff that made this happen for their hard work and creativity and the community and judges for their votes.

The Brookdale Cedar Springs Community is getting ready for fall by creating beautiful fall pumpkin centerpieces for their homes with the help of students from a local High School. This hands-on engagement opportunity brings the community members together with students to celebrate the fall season, encourage creativity, and create warm festive decorations for their homes.

‼️Hurricane Isaias Update‼️

Hurricane Isaias is approaching the Gulf Coast. It is projected to make landfall late Friday or early Saturday. Our community is closely watching Hurricane Isaias and is preparing.

Our residents' ongoing well-being is our primary goal. We have a storm preparedness plan in place, preparing generator power, emergency supplies of food and water and medications and oxygen.

There are a few Silly Geese styling and profiling at Brookdale Cedar Springs!

Our twins, Gertrude and Harriet, are rocking the red, white and blue! While Sue is blooming in her sunflower dress and showing off those beautiful golden locks. Mildred is turning heads in her fancy leopard-print dress and big red bow, and Lucy’s party outfit somehow turned into the cutest fall tutu!

Our residents sure do know how to keep their Silly Geese looking fabulous—and we’re absolutely loving every minute of it! 💕🪿
