We’re so excited to have Cam’s Cafecito joining us this Friday for one of our favorite morning activities with our residents! 🤎

And the best part? Cam’s Cafecito will also be open to the public, so feel free to stop by Southwest Assisted Living, grab a coffee, and enjoy the morning with us!

☀️ Starting the morning with some fresh air!

For our Pan y Café activity, our residents and staff enjoyed a refreshing morning walk outdoors, followed by some delicious pan dulce y café. ☕️🥐

A perfect way to get moving, enjoy the beautiful morning, and spend quality time together. Our residents and staff had an excellent morning! 🤍

Today, for National Senior Citizens Day, we’re celebrating more than age. We’re celebrating the lives, careers, experiences, and stories that made our residents who they are today.

Before they were residents at Southwest Assisted Living, they were teachers, workers, parents, professionals, creators, caregivers, and so much more. Every “I Used To Be…” carries a lifetime of memories and a story worth hearing.

We are incredibly fortunate at Southwest Assisted Living to not only learn about who they used to be, but to be part of who they are today and this chapter of their lives.

Because growing older doesn’t erase who you were. It adds another chapter to everything you already are.

Happy International Chocolate Chip Cookie Day! 🍪

To celebrate, our residents enjoyed a fun cooking class where they baked delicious chocolate chip cookies together. Filled with great music, smiles, laughter, and a little stress relief through baking, it was a wonderful way to spend time together.

🇺🇸 Happy 4th of July! ❤️🤍💙

We had an amazing time celebrating Independence Day with our wonderful residents! The day was filled with smiles, laughter, great company, and we ended the celebration by enjoying a beautiful fireworks show together. Seeing the joy on our residents’ faces made the day even more special.

A heartfelt thank you to our incredible staff for all of their hard work and teamwork in making this celebration possible. We truly appreciate everything you do for our residents every day.

This week, we had the pleasure of celebrating Father’s Day at Southwest Assisted Living with a special performance by the Folklorico Group from Casa de la Cultura.

Our residents truly enjoyed the beautiful dances, vibrant costumes, and the joy they brought to our community. Thank you to Casa de la Cultura and their talented dancers for sharing their time and culture with us and helping make our Father’s Day celebration so special.

We appreciate your visit and look forward to seeing you again! 💙

To kick off the summer season, our residents enjoyed a fun outing to Gatti’s Pizza! 🍕☀️

They had a wonderful time sharing great food, laughter, and memories alongside members of our staff and some of their family members. It was a fantastic way to welcome summer and enjoy quality time together.

A heartfelt thank you to Val Verde Winery for welcoming our residents and providing a special gift for our bingo winners⭐️ We enjoyed a wonderful afternoon filled with great company, a little wine, delicious charcuterie, and an exciting game of bingo.
