Another wonderful Fern Coffee Walk & Talk in the books. 💚

I will never stop loving this little community or being so proud of these humans who continue to show up for themselves and for one another.

Over the last two years, I’ve had the privilege of watching friendships form, confidence grow, babies become toddlers, and caregivers find connection in seasons that can often feel isolating. I’m endlessly proud of the way people not only show up for themselves, but so lovingly welcome new faces into the fold and support them along the way.

When I started these walks, my hope was to create a space where parents and caregivers could move their bodies, get outside, and connect with others during a chapter of life when doing those things can feel surprisingly hard. What I didn’t expect was how much this community would end up giving back to me.

This past year, especially, I’ve needed the support, encouragement, laughter, and friendship of this group just as much as anyone else. The love that is shared here always seems to find its way back around, and I’m so grateful for every conversation, every mile walked, every child who tagged along, and every person who keeps coming back.

Everything really does come full circle.

✨ Coffee Walk & Talk ✨

Our next walk is coming up and I would absolutely love to see you there.

📅 Friday, May 22
🕛 Meet at 12:00 PM
📍 Brewtus Roasting

We’ll start at Brewtus and head out for a relaxed one-hour walk on the rail trail, then circle back for coffee, connection, and a little time to just be together.

This is open to everyone. Parents, grandparents, caregivers, and kids of all ages, from brand new babies to big kids.

Bring whatever works for you. Carriers, strollers, wagons, scooters, ride-ons. Come exactly as you are. Move at your own pace. There’s no right way to do this.

Some people come for the movement. Some come for the conversation. Some just need to get out of the house. All of it belongs here.

If you’ve been thinking about coming, this is your sign. We would love to have you join us 💚

What a beautiful day it was for our April Coffee Walk and Talk. A small but mighty group of lovely women and tiny humans.

It still amazes me how you all keep showing up to move your bodies with me. I never imagined this little idea of mine, to gather people with littles, would still be going two years later.

That’s right. We’ve completed 24 walks through sunshine, rain, clouds, snow, and ice.

I have always believed in the power of mental health walks. After having my daughter, I wanted to move my body and I craved connection. I had a feeling I wasn’t alone.

So I used my brand new business to bring this idea to life. I shared it with Stephen, the owner of Brewtus, and he was immediately on board. I don’t think either of us imagined there would be days when over 30 of us would fill the space.

The staff at Brewtus has always been incredibly kind and patient with us, our emotions, and our kiddos. I am so deeply grateful for the way you’ve helped hold this space. A space where new mothers, often right on the edge, can come in, feel safe, and be met with openness, support, and care. A place where we can cry, laugh, and lean on each other.

To each of you who come, whether once or every month, thank you. Whether you’re a mother, father, parent, grandparent, or caregiver. The way you show up for each other, and for me, is something I will never take for granted. It truly brings me to tears to be surrounded by people like you.

Some days this walk is the reason someone makes it through.

No matter how long this walk continues, I will never forget what you’ve created here together.

We don’t always say this out loud, but it matters.

We care for all genders, all ages, and a wide range of pelvic and orthopedic concerns.

From pregnancy and postpartum…
to bowel and bladder changes…
to sports injuries and returning to performance…
to pelvic pain, surgery recovery, and getting back to what you love, we’re here.

And something important to know: Gina treats everyone.
Men, women, transgender and nonbinary individuals, kids and adults with thoughtful, skilled, inclusive care.

We’re also trauma-informed, which means we move at your pace, prioritize consent, and make sure you feel safe, heard, and in control throughout your care.

If you’ve been unsure where to start, you’re not alone.
You belong here.

You’re not making it up, and you’re not the problem.

You just haven’t been given the full picture yet.

Whether you come for physical therapy or mental health, you deserve a thorough assessment, honest answers, and care that actually connects the dots.

No more
“just do kegels”
“just breathe more”
“just manage your stress”
“just communicate better.”

It makes sense that you’re confused when no one has taken the time to actually explain what’s going on.

You deserve care that listens,
looks deeper,
and stays.

Not quick fixes.
Not dismissal.
Not being sent somewhere else without a plan.

Two perspectives. One standard of care. We don’t stop at the surface.

In the middle of the night, in your head…
you should see the things we do.

Rewiring patterns.
Rebuilding strength.
Changing the story from both sides.

We see what others miss.

Your tongue position while you tell us about why you’re here.
How often “I don’t know” really means “it doesn’t feel safe to say.”

Gripping your upper abs or clenching your glutes even at “rest”.
The protective parts that show up as perfectionism, over-explaining, or shutting down.

The way you shift your pelvis forward or weight to one side especially when you hold your kiddo.
When someone minimizes their own pain but can easily validate everyone else’s.

How your knees dive in and feet collapse when you bend down to get your bag.
How “I’m fine” often lives alongside a dysregulated body.

Saying things like, “I know my abs are split. I know my prolapse is causing my back pain.”
Inner voices that sound suspiciously like a parent, partner, or past caregiver.

The patterns your body learned…
and the stories your brain kept.
