In recognition of National Preparedness Month, the Luna County Health Council, Luna County Emergency Management, American Red Cross and Luna County Volunteer Fire Department will distribute emergency preparedness kits in Deming. Each kit includes a first-aid kit, blanket, flashlight, matches, and helpful preparedness information.

When: Thursday , September 24, 2026 from 5pm to 6pm (while supplies last)
Where: Luna County Courthouse Pavilion

In recognition of Su***de Awareness Month in September, please join us for a virtual QPR (Question, Persuade, Refer) su***de prevention training on September 17, 2026, at 5:30pm.

To register, use link below or QR code on flyer attached.

QPR training provides participants with practical skills to recognize warning signs, approach someone who may be experiencing a su***de-related crisis and connect them with appropriate support and resources.

This training is a valuable opportunity to increase awareness, strengthen our ability to support others and promote su***de prevention within our communities.
