Goodbye and good luck, Dr. Johnston! Dr. Johnston is leaving WPC to start his own practice in Lafayette and we are so excited for him. It has been an honor to have you on the WPC team the last 4 years. Thank you for your years of service, sharing your knowledge, and all your dad jokes. Fun fact, Dr. J was also an intern with us way back in 2018, swipe to the last slide to see him as a baby chiro 💙

Dear Wash Park Chiro,

This isn’t goodbye... It’s just see ya later.

As many of you know, I live up in Erie, and it’s time for me to be closer to home, especially as my littles become not so little. I’m opening my own chiropractic clinic in Lafayette, called Coal Creek Chiropractic, where I’ll be specializing in caring for patients who have been involved in motor vehicle accidents.

I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to treat such amazing people here at WPC. Y’all have taught me so much, and it’s truly been an honor to be trusted with your chiropractic and healthcare needs.

I also want to give a huge thank you to Dr. Goodman for the opportunity to be part of Washington Park Chiropractic and for all of her support, mentorship, and guidance over the years. I’ve learned so much during my time here, not only as a chiropractor, but also about running a practice and taking care of a community. I’ll carry all of those lessons with me into this next chapter.

I wish all of you the very, very best with everything life has in store for you! I’m excited for this new adventure, but so sad to leave my Wash Park fam.

‘Til we meet again. Cheers, y’all!
-Dr. Johnston

All of his current patients will be transferred over to Dr. Oglesby and Dr. Belz’s care. Please chat with the front desk or a doctor to see which provider will be the best fit for you!

Would your teen benefit from chiropractic care ⬇️

During adolescence, chiropractic care is beneficial for managing sports injuries, improving athletic performance, and dealing with physical changes like rapid growth.

Signs to Look For in Teens:
✅ Sports injuries or pain from physical activity
✅ Poor posture from long hours of gaming or studying
✅ Stress from academic pressures (e.g., exams)
✅ Growing pains and changes related to menstruation
✅ Stomach pain or tension in the neck and shoulders
✅ Postural distortions

Chiropractic treatments can also support emotional well-being and exam preparation by reducing stress and improving focus. Many middle school and high school athletes see chiropractors to enhance their sports performance and prevent injuries.
