Protect your strength.

Sarcopenia is the natural wastage and weakening of muscle caused by aging.

It’s clinically proven.

But it only happens when our muscles aren’t worked.

Regular strength training not only slows this process but can also reverse this.

Why is this so important?

One of the biggest reasons for needing care in older age is a lack on basic functionality, simply because we’re too weak.

I’m not talking about losing the ability to lift weights, I’m talking about the ability to get off the toilet, climb stairs, get off the floor, carry shopping, play with grandkids, get out of a bath, out of a car and many more simple actions we currently take for granted.

The trouble with Sarcopenia is its gradual effect. We don’t really notice it happening until we do.

Recent research published in the British Journal of Sports Medicine also shows how just 2 hours of strength training significantly impacts mortality rates. Less chance of heart disease, neurological disorders and all other life threatening conditions.

Strength training is the best preventive medicine we can take.
