At Parkland Medical Center, we believe in elevating care by elevating each other — and our Patient Care Technicians (PCTs) bring that to life every day. During PCT Week, we proudly celebrate our PCTs whose work makes a meaningful impact across our HCA Healthcare network, supporting approximately 47 million patient encounters each year.

PCTs are integral members of the care team, delivering hands-on care that directly supports patient outcomes. From assisting with mobility, personal care and meals to collaborating continuously with nurses and interdisciplinary teams, PCTs contribute essential clinical and compassionate care throughout the day. Their role reflects both technical skill and a commitment to teamwork, making them a foundational part of high-quality patient care.
