We were honored to welcome our local elected officials to tour our hospital and freestanding ERs recently for a behind-the-scenes look at the compassionate, high-quality care our teams deliver every day.

During their visit, hospital leaders shared updates on key patient care priorities, current healthcare challenges, and the innovations helping shape the health of our community. Guests also toured the facilities and had the opportunity to meet the dedicated professionals who bring our mission to life.

As a committed community partner, we are proud to serve our region and support the health and well-being of those who call it home and those who visit, both inside and beyond our hospital walls.

Thank you to our elected officials for joining us, and to our incredible healthcare teams for the meaningful impact they make each and every day. Joining us at Parkland Medical Center were State Representative / Derry Councilor John Potucek, State Representative Lilli Walsh, State Representative John Janigian, State Representative Wayne MacDonald, State Senator Daryl Abbas, State Representative / Salem Councilor Joe Sweeney, State Representative Jason Osborne, State Representative Daniel Popovici-Muller, State Representative Erica Layon and State Representative / Derry Councilor David Milz. Joining us at Plaistow ER were State Senator Regina Birdsell, State Representative Lily Walsh and Plaistow Selectwoman Kiz Kosta.

The unofficial start of summer is here, and we’re gearing up for fun with family, friends and out-of-state visitors. But summer fun – especially after being stuck inside all winter – can sometimes lead to trouble. Too much time in the sun, getting a little too close to the firepit, or not paying attention to the beach warning flags – you know what we mean.

And when those mishaps turn into medical issues, Parkland Medical Center’s main ER and freestanding ER in Plaistow are here to help.

Here when you need us. 24/7.
