Northstar Aromatics As a Winemaker turned Aromatherapist my passion has always focused on aromatics. I encourage and teach only safe, ethical sourcing and use of essential oils.

I look forward to sharing my gift of hand poured and hand crafted alchemy with you. Koru Essential Oils is created out of the love of science and nature. I studied wine making in Washington State, earning a degree in Enology, Viticulture, and Fermentation Science. Built on a foundation in the wine industry and medical massage therapy, aromatherapy seemed to be a natural next step. The pure therape

utic essential oils are hand chosen from all over the world. I'm so excited to be working with my very own oils and know exactly what they are, what they are not, where they come from - dialed down to the latitude, longitude, soil type, harvest date and even the Brix! (Sugar measurement, or Brix, isn't just specific to wine - it's applied to essential oils as well.) It's just one of the many important variables that assist me in determining the aroma quality, chemical compounds, their concentrations, as well as purity! Most of my oils are wild grown or certified organic as well. I only bottle the highest quality oils and I run trial after trial to assure that everything that goes into Koru Essential Oils is of the highest quality. I even hand pour, hand bottle, and hand label them, typically upon order so that they remain fresh until you receive them! Think of a demanding aromatic wine that knocks your socks off and you (might) be prepared to experience Koru Essential Oils!

Thank you so much to everyone who came out for Girls Night Out, stopped by the Northstar table, smelled all the things, asked questions, shopped, and simply came over to say hello.

I got to see so many familiar faces and meet some wonderful new ones too, and Iโ€™m incredibly grateful for every conversation, every purchase, and every bit of support. This little business continues to grow because people show up for it, and I never take that for granted. ๐Ÿค

The Healthy Otter has only been open for about a week, and if you have not stopped in yet, you absolutely need to put it on your list. ๐Ÿ’š

Krista has created such a thoughtful little wellness space, and her knowledge, passion, and genuine excitement for helping people find products that fit their needs is so apparent the minute you walk in. I am incredibly grateful that Northstar is getting to become a small part of what she is building.

And when I say ๐ก๐š๐ง๐ ๐ฉ๐จ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ž๐, this is exactly what I mean. ๐Ÿค

These bottles are not being pulled from a warehouse shelf or coming off some giant production line. They are poured, labeled, capped, checked, and prepared in small batches, one by one, with a whole lot of care before they ever make their way to a shop.

That is part of what makes small-batch products so special. There are real hands behind them, real relationships behind the shops carrying them, and real people cheering each other on.

This beautiful display is coming together for The Healthy Otter, and there are still a few more Northstar surprises being prepared before everything heads to Ottertail. ๐Ÿ‘€

The space is beautiful, thoughtfully curated, and Krista is incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about wellness, local resources, and helping people find what truly fits their needs.

Stacy from ReLakes Professional Massage sent me her very organized little Northstar laundry setup and I cannot stop smiling.

Her words were basically: when you canโ€™t decide which scent you like best, you need multiple laundry oilsโ€ฆ and then naturally, multiple wool dryer balls so they donโ€™t get mixed up. I fully support this level of laundry organization. ๐Ÿงบ๐Ÿ‘โœจ

Our Laundry Oils are made to use with wool dryer balls for a softer, reusable alternative to synthetic dryer sheets, and apparently they also inspire very serious shelf systems. ๐Ÿ˜‚
