We're celebrating Direct Support Professionals week!

DSPs celebrate accomplishments and stand alongside people through the rough and smooth. They have been there to hear someone say “Mom” for the first time, to be the first person to ask a mom for a slumber party with her daughter, and to support someone as they gained independence by self-propelling their wheelchair.
They have gone to first concerts and proms, watched a person water ski, ridden toboggans, and tried new experiences!

We are celebrating Direct Support Professionals week! DSPs are the heart, soul, and backbone of ABLE.

They help the people we support visit family and reconnect with loved ones, whether that means traveling out of state, making FaceTime calls, sending cards and flowers, purchasing birthday gifts, or attending weddings, anniversaries, and other important milestones. They make it possible for people to stay connected and be part of the lives of those they love.

Because each rug is made by hand from start to finish, no two pieces are the same. Did you know that each of our handmade rugs is crafted from repurposed fabric? This is keeping textiles out of landfills in our community and proceeds support providing jobs for people in our community.
