A raindrop falls, the sky turns gray,
The goats declare, "We'll melt today!"

They race for shelter, tails held high,
As if they're made of sugar pie.

The pasture waits, the grass is fine,
But getting wet is surely a crime.

So on the deck they crowd and stare,
Offended by the dampened air.

The rain is light, the threat is small,
Yet, drama queens, they're one and all.

For though they act tough all day,
A raindrop sends them straight our way.

Time to head home. It was a good trip and we got some good work done at the
