Our commitment runs deep across central and southern Delaware with two hospitals, emergency centers, specialty practices, 990 clinicians and 5,000+ team members. As central and southern Delaware’s largest healthcare system, Bayhealth is comprised of Bayhealth Hospital, Kent Campus and Bayhealth Hospital, Sussex Campus, the freestanding Emergency Department in Smyrna as well as numerous satellite facilities and employed physician practices encompassing a variety of specialties. Bayhealth is a technologically advanced not-for-profit healthcare system with more than 4,000 employees and a medical staff of more than 400 physicians. In Fiscal Year 2020, Bayhealth recorded 96,820 emergency department visits, 18,574 patients admitted to beds, 2,241 births, and provided $68.16 million in unreimbursed care to patients.

This Rehabilitation Awareness Week, we’re celebrating the physical therapists, occupational therapists and speech-language pathologists helping patients regain strength, independence and confidence across Bayhealth.

From our Kent and Sussex campuses to the Blue Hen location, rehabilitation services help patients through different stages of recovery, with trusted partners like PAM Rehabilitation and BAYADA Home Health Care helping continue that care after the hospital when needed.

Bayhealth’s Go Pink! Screening Events are making it easier to get screened with free clinical breast exams and the opportunity for a same-day screening mammogram when recommended.

Dover | Saturday, Oct. 10 | 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Bayhealth Women’s Imaging Center, Dover

Milford | Thursday, Oct. 22 | 10 a.m. to noon
Calvary Church | Healthy Neighbor Days
Same-day mammograms from 1-3 p.m. at Bayhealth Women’s Imaging Center, Milford.

Same-day appointments are limited. Registration is preferred, but walk-ins are welcome. Insurance is accepted but not required.

🎀Dover | Saturday, Oct. 10
Time: 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Location: Bayhealth Women’s Imaging Center, 540 S. Governors Ave., Suite 200, Dover
Details: Receive a free clinical breast exam and, if a screening mammogram is recommended, the opportunity to receive your mammogram that same day.

🎀Milford | Thursday, Oct. 22
Time: 10 a.m. to noon
Location: Calvary Church, 301 S.E. Front St., Milford
Details: Join us during Healthy Neighbor Days for a free clinical breast exam and food distribution. If a screening mammogram is recommended, same-day appointments will be available from 1-3 p.m. at Bayhealth Women’s Imaging Center, Milford.

Registration is preferred, but walk-ins are welcome. Insurance will be billed for screening mammograms when applicable. Financial assistance is available through the Bayhealth Cancer Institute’s screening program for those without insurance.

Call 302-744-6512 to register for a clinical breast exam and same-day screening mammogram today.
