Not all SPF is extension-friendly ☀️🤍

A lot of people don’t realise certain sunscreen ingredients can react with minerals found in things like chlorine, hard water, copper & iron… and when that transfers onto extensions (especially lighter blondes), it can lead to staining, dullness and discoloration over time.

We see it most in blonde shades turning:
• peach 🍑
• pink 🌸
• yellow ☀️
• orange 🧡

But it’s not just about colour changes 👀
Sunscreen buildup can also cause dryness, tangling, brittleness, matte-looking hair and even weaken extension bonds.

A few simple habits can make such a difference:
▫️Apply SPF before touching your hair
▫️Clip hair up while applying sunscreen
▫️Choose avobenzone-free SPF where possible
▫️Rinse extensions after swimming
▫️Use a leave-in protectant before sun exposure
