🧘‍♀️ Yoga at Big Shoal Beach is back for the summer!

☀️ From June through August, we'll gather by the water every Friday at 8:00 AM, when the bay is still calm, the air is cool, and the island is just beginning to wake up.

‼️ I am now requiring signing up for each class at germinatewellness.com/signup ‼️

🙏 I do have mats available for use. Bringing a towel to place under your mat is recommended to help prevent slipping on the sand, create a more stable base on uneven ground, and keep your mat cleaner by reducing sand and debris.

🌊 The gentle sounds of birds, the movement of the water, and the quiet of the morning create a space to slow down and settle into the present moment. Together, we'll move through an all-levels practice that not only connects us to the natural beauty of our island, but also reconnects us with ourselves.

This weekend brings our final 3 classes of May 🌿 A few things to note:

🌱 Thursday’s class will begin with a 30-minute delay
🌅 Saturday evening’s class at the Bayside Martini Deck requires sign up at germinatewellness.com/signup
🐝 Sometimes it’s hard to remember to prioritize time for yourself to reset; consider this your invitation to slow down, breathe, move, and reconnect before stepping into a new month

Bring intention into your day 💚 yoga tonight at 6 PM!

Try slowing everything down today. No rushing, just flow. Give your nervous system a rest.

You're moving through life at a pace that's unsustainable. Always rushing, always behind, always in urgency mode. And your nervous system is exhausted from the constant activation. It needs a break. Not a vacation, not some grand gesture, just intentional slowness today.

Try slowing everything down. Move slower. Talk slower. Think slower. No rushing, just flow. Let things take the time they take without forcing speed. Give your nervous system a rest from the constant pressure to hurry. Because that urgency? It's often manufactured. Most things don't actually need to be rushed. You're just used to operating in crisis mode because that was your baseline for so long. But you're safe enough now to slow down. And your body desperately needs you to. So today, practice slowness. Not as laziness, but as nervous system care. Let yourself flow instead of force. Your body will thank you.
