Healing after mastectomy or reconstruction is an important part of the journey.

Sometimes, skin flaps or grafts may have difficulty healing because of reduced blood flow, infection, radiation or other factors. Signs of a compromised surgical site can include pain, wound separation, discoloration, fever or drainage.

HBO₂ therapy may help support compromised tissue by increasing oxygen delivery, reducing fluid buildup and promoting new blood vessel growth.
