Yesterday, was asked to remove all LGBTQ+ materials and response to this administration anti-DEI legislation. Fortunately, this afternoon this decision was rescinded thanks to the outstanding response from our community. While the policies of this administration continues to be a threat, we remain grateful for the political organizing happening in ! please stay aware and stay informed. happy pride y’all. 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️

Are you an integrative health practitioner committed to caring for all bodies, ready for more support, in good company, and eager to increase healthcare access in Durham?

We're steadily emerging into our vision as an integrative wellness center, and we're ready to welcome a practitioner to share space with Dr. Rakhee Devasthali in the gorgeous Golden Vale room. Other service rooms may be available too- a conversation we're excited to have.

Starting July 1st, we'll be making a small pricing adjustment to help support our team and the long-term sustainability of the care we provide.

We're also incredibly excited to launch the Auroraflow Community Fund — a new donation-supported program to help make care more accessible for our community.

And finally, we've made some updates to our policies around cognitive conditions to help ensure clear consent and safe, supportive care for everyone involved.

Join us on Saturday, June 13th, from 11 am-12 pm for a movement-based self-defense class designed with bendy bodies in mind.

Taught by Alija - a skilled, trans and q***r instructor with experience supporting hypermobile folks.

In this class, we'll cover practical tools for protecting yourself while honoring your body's unique needs. Masks are required for this event to keep our community safe.

🎟️ There are three tiers available - $20, $30 (suggested price), and $40 (pay it forward).

This is our love letter to the caretakers, the chosen family, the quiet listeners, and the fierce protectors. We know this time of year can bring up a lot: grief, longing, tension, and hurt. Not everyone has- or had- a loving relationship with their mother. But many of us have found motherly love in friends, aunties, mentors, elders, and even in ourselves.

Today we celebrate the intimate, everyday acts of love- packing lunches, holding space, checking-in, making someone feel safe.

Not everyone who nurtures is called "mom", but their love is no less powerful.

Most people think today is just about tacos and tequila, but the real story is a blueprint for resistance.

From a ragtag army in Puebla in the 1800's to the Chicano activists of the 1960s, Cinco de Mayo is a celebration of the underdog. It's a reminder that when systems try to erase a culture, that culture fights back.

Today, while some use this holiday as an excuse to party, others in our community are living in fear of ICE raids and deportation orders. It's a painful irony to see culture celebrated in the bars while the people are targeted in the streets.
