Willie doesn’t come to Rock Steady Boxing because he’s training for a heavyweight title. He comes because he’s giving Parkinson’s a run for its money.

For Willie, every class is a commitment to keep moving. What started as an exercise program has become something much bigger: a community, a source of confidence, and a place where determination shows up again and again. The punches matter. The drills matter. But the real victory is showing up and refusing to let Parkinson’s define the next chapter.

Parkinson’s may have changed the fight, but for Willie, it doesn’t get the final round!

Rock Steady Boxing for Parkinson’s is more than exercise it’s movement, connection, and community. Building strength, confidence, and support one round at a time.

🦋🎨 Creativity was in full flight today as our residents made beautiful butterfly crafts! From colorful wings to unique designs, each butterfly was as special as the person who created it.

Crafting is a wonderful way to encourage creativity, spark conversation, and bring smiles to everyone's day. We love seeing our residents express themselves while having fun together! 🧡

🌱🌼 Look at our garden grow! Our residents have loved helping plant, water, and care for our flowers and vegetables. It has been so rewarding to watch everything begin to bloom and thrive.
Gardening brings so much joy, purpose, and time outdoors, and we can't wait to see how beautiful our garden becomes throughout the summer. Stay tuned for more updates as our little garden continues to grow! 🌞🌻🧡

🧡 A big welcome to one of our newest residents Ruth! We are so happy to have her as part of our Edgewood family.
From making new friends to joining activities and sharing plenty of smiles, she is already embracing community life and enjoying each day. Seeing our residents feel at home and thrive is what makes our hearts happy!

🫧✨ Sometimes the simplest things bring the biggest smiles! Our residents had so much fun when one of our amazing CNAs started blowing bubbles indoors. Laughter filled the room as everyone watched, reached for, and popped the floating bubbles.
Moments like these remind us that joy can be found in the little things. 🧡 Seeing our residents smile, laugh, and enjoy the moment together is what it's all about! 🫧😊

🐦🧡 Our residents had a wonderful time building bird feeders for their windows! Watching the birds visit throughout the day brings so much joy, comfort, and entertainment. There’s something special about seeing nature up close from the comfort of home.
We can't wait to see which feathered friends stop by for a snack! 🐤🌻

🎈🏐 Balloon Volleyball is always a hit around here! 🏐🎈

One of our residents' favorite ways to stay active is a friendly game of balloon volleyball. There are always plenty of laughs, smiles, and teamwork as everyone works together to keep the balloon in the air!

Not only is it fun, but it's also a great way to get moving, exercise coordination, and enjoy time with friends. We love seeing the joy this simple activity brings to our residents every time we play! ❤️

🎶🐦 "He rocks in the treetops all day long..." 🐦🎶
Marcas was all smiles while listening to music today! "Rockin' Robin" had us tapping along and enjoying every minute of the fun. Music has a wonderful way of bringing back memories, lifting spirits, and creating joyful moments.
We love seeing our residents light up while enjoying their favorite tunes! ❤️🎵
