Still riding the good vibes of the 2026 Prevent 2 Protect Conference!

Thank you to everyone who joined us to hear from our amazing keynote speakers, Dr. Peter Langman, Dr. Amy Cooter, Dr. Marcia Testa, Dr. Jessica Stern, and of course our very own Dr. Alyse Folino Ley!

We also want to thank the amazing community partners who shared resources with attendees and to Michael McKissic, Larry D. Johnson, and Shon Hart for highlighting all of the areas where mentorship matters.

We want to thank Detroit Free Press for spotlighting how Prevent 2 Protect has supported schools across the state of Michigan in preparation for the October 1st deadline to have behavioral threat assessment teams in place.

Big thanks to MSUToday for highlighting our efforts to support schools across the state of Michigan by providing Mi-BTAM training throughout the summer and fall! We are thankful to everyone who participated, our lead instructors, the Michigan State Police Office of School Safety, and the Michigan Department of Education.
