7 years ago, I finally changed my life.

The crazy part? I thought I had done that many times before.

I’d lose weight, gain it back, & find myself starting over again.

What changed wasn’t my willpower - it was my approach

I stopped chasing quick fixes & started building a lifestyle I could actually sustain.

Has it been perfect? Not even close.

I’ve had setbacks, two twin pregnancies, & plenty of challenges. But I never got completely lost again because I finally found a way of living that works in real life

🦋 Sustainable beats perfect
🦋 Consistency beats intensity
🦋 Progress beats starting over

Today I’m still working toward my goals, but I’m on the right path - & that’s what matters

💛 The best plan isn’t the one that works for 30 days. It’s the one that still works years later.

✨ If you’re done w/ the cycle of starting over, comment “NO MORE STARTING OVER” below! 👇

Yessss!!!! This should be the future of farming!!!!

While farmers sleep, robots are driving through fields and fighting crop disease with light.

The company is called TRIC Robotics.

Its autonomous machines move through farms at night, using UV-C light to target pests and plant diseases without relying only on chemical pesticides.

No spray cloud.

No tractor driver.

No overnight crew.

Just a robot rolling through the rows while the farm is dark.

The technology is being used especially in crops like strawberries, where diseases such as mildew and mold can damage huge amounts of produce.

Instead of soaking plants in chemicals, the robot shines controlled ultraviolet light onto the crops.

That UV-C light can help remove or disrupt harmful pathogens on the plants.

Some versions can also use tools like bug vacuums to help deal with pests.

The reason it runs at night is important.

UV treatments can work better in darkness, and farms can be treated while normal work is not happening.

It is farming, but it looks almost futuristic.

A quiet robot.

Rows of crops.

No pesticides.

Just light moving through the field while everyone sleeps.

This is where agriculture is heading:

Smarter machines.

Fewer chemicals.

Healthier crops.

And farms that keep working even after the humans go home.

Wow!!!!! This is the stuff people need to know about!! What are you REALLY consuming?! I hope that this starts to change the way these companies are feeding the public 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

Heinz Tomato Ketchup will now feature a “contains bioengineered food ingredient” warning on its label because it utilizes ingredients derived from genetically modified crops. This disclosure became mandatory under the USDA National Bioengineered Food Disclosure Standard, which transitioned the official product labeling language to “bioengineered”. Specifically, standard Heinz Ketchup is formulated with high fructose corn syrup and corn syrup used as sweeteners, alongside distilled white vinegar. These ingredients are sourced from conventional, industrial U.S. corn crops, over 90% of which are genetically modified in labs to tolerate herbicides or resist pests. Because the genetic material from these modified crops is detectable in the production chain, federal law mandates that the packaging bear this transparency disclosure for consumers.

According to major regulatory bodies like the FDA and the WHO, approved GM ingredients currently on the market are as safe and nutritious as their non-GMO counterparts. However, the health and environmental discussions around these ingredients involve distinct viewpoints. Check out the comments section for a breakdown of those ❤️ You can also find a few healthy, clean alternative options there too🙌🏻

Want one of the simplest ways to improve your health w/out counting calories, tracking points, or following a complicated plan?

🦋 Eat more veggies.

Now before you scroll past because you’ve heard this before, hear me out…

Veggies do so much more than add color to your plate

🦋 They help support healthy digestion
🦋 They provide fiber that keeps you feeling satisfied
🦋 They support blood sugar balance
🦋 They nourish your body w/ vitamins & minerals
🦋 They help crowd out less nourishing foods w/out feeling deprived

One of the easiest habits that helped me on my own journey was making sure I always had simple vegetables ready to grab

My favorites?

🥒 Mini cucumbers
🫑 Mini sweet peppers
🫛 Snap peas

These are always in my refrigerator because they’re easy, portable, & require almost no prep. When healthy choices are convenient, you’re much more likely to make them

Remember, health doesn’t have to be complicated

Sometimes it’s simply adding more of the foods God created for us to enjoy 😋

This week, challenge yourself to fill at least half your plate w/ non-starchy veggies at one meal each day & see how you feel

Small habits create big results over time 💛

✨ What’s your favorite vegetable right now? Drop it in the comments below! & if you’re looking for easy ways to eat more veggies without feeling overwhelmed, comment VEGGIES & I’ll share some of my favorite simple ideas 🥒🫑🫛

Yesterday we talked about Philippians 4:9 & the importance of putting into practice what we’ve learned.

Today, I want to remind you of something important:

🦋 You don’t need to know more.
🦋 You don’t need a perfect plan.
🦋 You don’t need to wait until next week.

You simply need to take the next faithful step.

So many women spend years searching for the “secret” to health while overlooking the simple habits that are already in front of them.

The truth?

The habits that work are usually not flashy.

It’s drinking your water when you don’t feel like it.
It’s prioritizing protein at breakfast.
It’s taking a walk after dinner.
It’s going to bed a little earlier.
It’s choosing progress over perfection.

Those choices may seem small, but they are building something powerful.

Every healthy choice is a vote for the woman you are becoming.

& here’s the beautiful thing: God never asked you to transform overnight.

He asks you to be faithful w/ today.

One day becomes one week.
One week becomes one month.
One month becomes one year.

& before you know it, the life you once dreamed about becomes the life you’re living.

So this Monday, don’t focus on how far you have to go.

Focus on the next right choice.

The next meal.
The next workout.
The next glass of water.
The next opportunity to honor the body God has given you.

Keep practicing what you’ve learned.

Keep showing up.

Keep trusting the process.

💛 Because consistency, not perfection, is what creates lasting change

✨ What’s your NEXT RIGHT CHOICE today? Comment below with one healthy action you’re committing to before the day is over. Let’s start this week strong together! 💪🦋

“Keep putting into practice all you learned and received from me, everything you heard from me and saw me doing. Then the God of peace will be with you.” - Philippians 4:9

One of the biggest mistakes we can make on our health journey is believing that more information is the answer

Most of us already know a lot

We know we should drink more water.
We know we should move our bodies.
We know we should prioritize protein.
We know we should get better sleep.
We know we should nourish our bodies instead of punishing them

The challenge isn’t always learning something new

The challenge is putting into practice what we already know

Philippians 4:9 reminds us that transformation comes through application

Not just hearing.
Not just reading.
Not just planning.

Doing.

One healthy choice.
One meal.
One walk.
One workout.
One prayer.

Repeated day after day

As I’ve walked my own health journey, I’ve realized that lasting change isn’t found in chasing the next trend or the next quick fix. It’s found in faithfully practicing the simple things that work

God often works through consistency 😏

The small daily actions that seem insignificant today become the foundation of who you are tomorrow

So if you’re feeling overwhelmed, don’t focus on doing everything perfectly.

Ask yourself:

🦋 What is one thing I’ve learned that I need to put into practice this week?
🦋 What healthy habit has God already shown me that I need to be more consistent with?

Then trust Him w/ the process 🙌🏼

As you continue to practice what you’ve learned, God promises His peace will be w/ you - & that’s a gift far greater than any number on the scale

✨ What is ONE healthy habit you’re committed to putting into practice this week? Share it in the comments below & let’s encourage one another to take action, one faithful step at a time 💛

Here’s a Storytime Saturday caption that fits your family-focused, relatable style:

Today was one of those days that fills your heart in all the best ways ❤️

We spent the day surrounded by family & great friends, celebrating a pretty big milestone for our boys as they get ready to head off to kindergarten this fall

As a mom, it’s hard to believe we’re already at this stage. It feels like yesterday they were tiny little babies, & now we’re preparing for backpacks, school routines, & this exciting new chapter

We enjoyed a backyard BBQ, lots of laughs, great conversations, kids running around making memories, & simply soaking in time w/ the people we love most

& to top it all off…

🇧🇷 We got to watch Brazil’s first FIFA World Cup 2026 game! As a proud part Brazilian, cheering on Brazil w/ family & friends always makes the day a little sweeter. Even w/ the tie, it was fun gathering around the TV & sharing in the excitement 🇧🇷

Days like today remind me that health isn’t just about what’s on your plate or how many steps you take

🦋 It’s about making memories
🦋 It’s about celebrating milestones
🦋 It’s about community
🦋 It’s about enjoying the people God has placed in your life

Today was simple, joyful, & exactly what my soul needed

A really good day 💛

✨ Tell me something that made you smile this week! Was it family time, a special celebration, a win on your health journey, or something completely unexpected? I’d love to hear about it in the comments👇

What an incredible blessing last night was for our FamJam ❤️

We had the opportunity to take our boys to their very first concert, & getting to experience live together is something I’ll never forget 🥹💕

The entire evening felt like a gift from God. We were literally blessed w/ tickets in a suite, & from the moment we arrived, it was such a special experience

There’s something so powerful about being in a room filled w/ people singing every word, lifting up the name of our Savior, & worshiping together. It was a beautiful night of praise, worship, joy, & gratitude 🙌🏼🙏🏼

Watching our boys experience their first concert in an atmosphere centered on faith made it even more meaningful. We filled so many cups that night - our hearts, our souls, & our family memories - & it was truly wonderful 💕

If you ever have the chance to see in concert, I highly recommend making it a family event. It’s more than a concert - it’s an experience that will stay w/ you long after the music ends 🙌✨

✨ Have you ever attended a worship concert that impacted you or your family? Share your favorite worship concert experience in the comments below - I’d love to hear about it! ❤️

Sometimes the biggest transformation isn’t what you see on the scale…

It’s learning to trust the process

After my second twin pregnancy, I wanted my body to bounce back quickly. But the truth is, that pregnancy was hard on my body. It required me to slow down, listen, heal, & give myself grace 🙏🏼❤️

Today, I am 18 months postpartum & slowly but surely making my way back toward my goals

& honestly?

I’m okay w/ slow

🦋 Slow means I’m building habits I can keep
🦋 Slow means I’m nourishing my body instead of punishing it
🦋 Slow means I’m preserving muscle & supporting my metabolism
🦋 Slow means I’m allowing my body the time it needs to heal

For years, I chased quick results. Like so many women, I thought faster was better

Now I know better.

The goal isn’t to lose weight as quickly as possible.

The goal is to create a lifestyle that still works when life gets busy, when the kids need you, when stress shows up, & when motivation disappears

Because if you can’t sustain it, it’s not really a solution

Every healthy meal.
Every walk.
Every workout.
Every time I choose consistency over perfection…

It all counts💪🏼

I may not be where I want to be yet, but I am so much closer than I was 18 months ago. & that progress deserves to be celebrated 🎉💃🏻

Slow & steady is the name of the game, & I’m here for it 💛

✨ If you’re learning to embrace slow, sustainable progress instead of chasing quick fixes, comment SLOW & STEADY below. Let’s encourage each other to keep showing up, one healthy choice at a time
