🌈 THE COZY CORNER IS COMING TO LEHIGH VALLEY PRIDE 2026! 🌈

Come see us at SteelStacks in Bethlehem this Sunday, August 30, from 1 to 7 PM! This will be The Cozy Corner’s very first Pride, and we are SO excited to celebrate, connect, and share a little joy.

A huge thank you to the Bradbury-Sullivan LGBT Community Center (Bradbury-Sullivan LGBT Center) for welcoming us and allowing us to be part of such a meaningful day.

While Pride is full of color, celebration, and q***r joy, it is also rooted in resistance. “The first Pride was a riot” honors the Stonewall Uprising, which began in the early hours of June 28, 1969, after police raided the Stonewall Inn in New York City City. LGBTQ+ community members fought back against ongoing harassment, discrimination, and violence. Their resistance sparked several nights of protest and helped propel the modern LGBTQ+ rights movement forward.

One year later, the first Pride marches were held to honor Stonewall and continue the fight for liberation.

Pride is a celebration, but it is also remembrance, resistance, community, and the continued demand for everyone to live openly, safely, and authentically.

The Summer Mom Market was full of new faces, familiar friends, and so many wonderful supporters of The Cozy Corner. 🤍

For our community activity, we created a giant canvas filled with faces and invited everyone to draw themselves. We were intentional about including a variety of skin tones because everyone deserves to see themselves represented, included, and celebrated.

Every purchase made at our booth also helps us continue supporting clients who have lost insurance or need sliding-scale or pro bono care, while ensuring our therapists are still fairly compensated for the meaningful work they provide. When you support The Cozy Corner, you are helping make mental health care more accessible in our community.

A very happy birthday to Devika, and happy one-year anniversary to the Mom Market (The Mom Market)! Thank you for creating this beautiful space and continuing to invite us to be part of it. 💖

CAFECITO Y CHISME IS COMING THIS SEPTEMBER!

Grab your cafecito, pull up a chair, and come ready for a little chisme. ☕️

In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, we’re bringing Cafecito y Chisme to The Cozy Corner Counseling. This four-part community series is a space for Latines (he/she/they) to connect, laugh, reflect, celebrate our culture, and build comunidad together. Because sometimes the best conversations happen over a cup of coffee.

Each gathering will feature a new conversation with interactive activities, cultural reflection, storytelling, connection, and plenty of opportunities to simply enjoy being in community with one another. Each week will build on the last as we explore culture, identity, family, wellness, connection, and what comunidad means to us.

Politics doesn’t stay in the headlines. It follows us into our homes, our relationships, our workplaces, and sometimes, directly into our nervous systems.

Our newest blog, “It’s Not Just You: Politics IS Affecting Our Mental Health,” written by Arielle Arbush*tes, explores something so many of us have been feeling: the emotional weight of living through ongoing uncertainty, division, fear, and change.

For some, political stress shows up as anxiety or exhaustion. For others, policies directly impact their safety, identity, healthcare, family, livelihood, or future. And when our brains are constantly asking, “Am I safe?” it makes sense that eventually, vigilance can become exhaustion, grief, numbness, or hopelessness.

But caring about what is happening around us doesn’t have to mean sacrificing ourselves in the process.

We can stay informed and take breaks.
We can advocate and protect our peace.
We can grieve what has changed and still make room for hope.
We can care deeply without carrying everything alone.

One of our favorite reminders from this piece:
Rest is not surrender.

Sometimes rest is exactly what allows us to keep showing up.

This week’s Summer Vendor Networking Soirée was a beautiful reminder of what makes this community so special.

Each season, we gather before The Mom Market event with intention—creating space for our vendors to connect beyond their booths, build real relationships, and grow alongside one another. Watching conversations spark, collaborations form, and friendships deepen is truly the heart of what we do.

We were honored to have Crystal Agyei MD | Lifestyle & Mindset Coach for Entrepreneurs , founder of Human Life Strategy, and Tiffany Castillo, founder of The Cozy Corner Counseling, LLC , lead a powerful discussion on comprehensive founder health—reminding us that behind every business is a woman who deserves to feel supported, balanced, and whole.

There is something incredibly powerful about a room full of women who choose collaboration over competition.

Tonight wasn’t about networking. It was about being seen. Being encouraged. Sharing our stories. Celebrating wins. Naming fears. Making space for one another. And leaving with the reminder that none of us were meant to build alone.

A heartfelt thank you to Devika, owner of The Mom Market (The Mom Market ), for creating a space where connection comes first as she celebrates the one year anniversary this August! Her ability to welcome us into her space demonstrates the power of when women empower women.

It was such an honor for Tiffany, owner of The Cozy Corner (The Cozy Corner Counseling, LLC) to co-host this evening alongside Crystal Agyei (Crystal Agyei MD | Lifestyle & Mindset Coach for Entrepreneurs), Whole Human Strategist, and to witness so many meaningful conversations unfold.

Grateful for the opportunity to be a part of the first Summer Wellness Expo at Luxe Events & Designs hosted by Yaqub Counseling Services and Authentic Minds Psychotherapy, LLC. A wonderful opportunity to connect with like minded businesses with the intention of bringing awareness to mental wellness and helping those decide the path.

We tabled with Where Lehigh Valley women gather, grow, + connect as we have our Period Pantry Project and received a ton of donations (thank you! ❤️) and are still collecting until September. We also have our first breathwork session with Earthshine Holistics | Herbal Wellness on Thursday, August 13th.

We celebrated mental wellness with laughter, food, dance, raffles and good vibes, and we’re excited for what’s next!
