Through our partnership with Jesuit High Athletics, we recently had the opportunity to welcome a group of Jesuit Cross Country athletes to our KIME location inside Ultimate Fitness for performance and injury-risk testing.

Because testing isn’t just for injured athletes.

It’s for athletes who want to understand how they move, where they excel, and what opportunities exist to become even better.

At KIME, we believe the future of sports medicine is proactive. By measuring how athletes generate force, absorb impact, and transfer energy through their body, we can identify movement inefficiencies and potential risk factors long before they become bigger problems.

The goal isn’t to predict injuries.

The goal is to give athletes and coaches objective information that leads to smarter training, better movement, and greater confidence on race day.

When coaches, athletes, and healthcare providers work together, performance and injury prevention become part of the same conversation—and that’s where meaningful progress happens.

From the baseball field to the clinic floor, Brendan Yawn brings years of playing and coaching experience — and a passion for helping athletes perform at their highest level.

Today marks the first day of his physical therapy career, but his foundation has been built long before this moment. Leadership. Coaching. Communication. A relentless commitment to getting better. Those are the qualities that make great clinicians, and we're excited to watch Brendan grow into all of it.

As we continue to expand our baseball and throwing athlete programs in Reno, Brendan's experience and energy will help us reach even more athletes and families in our community.

MEET DR. KILEY RICHARDS, PT, DPT 👋

If you haven't had the chance to meet Kiley yet, allow us to make the official introduction.

Dr. Kiley Richards joined the KIME Reno team earlier this year and has quickly become an incredible resource for our patients and community. She earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Touro University Nevada and brings experience treating a wide range of orthopedic and neurologic conditions.

Kiley has a passion for helping people return to the activities they love through individualized, movement-focused care. With a strong background in exercise science and sports rehabilitation, she particularly enjoys working with athletes of all ages — especially adolescent and overhead athletes.

Her approach to care is centered around collaboration, clear communication, and empowering patients to build confidence throughout the rehab process.

Beyond the clinic, Kiley has spent years volunteering with adaptive sports programs, pediatric hospital settings, and organizations supporting children and adults with disabilities. Those experiences helped shape the patient-centered mindset and positive energy she brings to KIME every day.
