We love seeing multiple tribes and native organizations come together for public health. Today at the outreach event on the Southside of OKC we worked along side: Muscogee Creek Nation, Choctaw Nation, OKCIC, and Southern Plains Tribal Health Board.

We look forward to more organizations joining us at future events!

Check it out! During our Homeless Alliance outreach we were interviewed by KOSU and the story is here! This is just a fraction of the grassroots outreach we do, and we will continue to try our best to reach our unhoused neigjbors wherever we can.

People experiencing homelessness are at increased risk for infectious and non-infectious diseases, including hepatitis C.

A great time in Geary. We facilitated three different sessions for each group and even let the youth use Naloxone on us to show how simple it is and how there are no harmful side effects to administering naloxone.

Tomorrow we will be back in OKC on the Southside. Stop by and say hi!

Check it out! We had some members from KOSU Radio stop by and cover our Hand Drum making class in OKC yesterday. Thank you again to everyone who came out and spent some time with us.

The Cheyenne and Arapaho Tribes are building community in Oklahoma City through a drum-making workshop. But the public event isn’t just about learning a new skill. It’s about preserving culture.

Bright futures ahead!

We are heading out to schools next week for Red Ribbon Week! In response to the new Rain’s Law legislation, we will be teaching all 6-12th grade students about overdose awareness, fentanyl, mental health warning signs, and cyber bullying. We are thankful for the partnerships within the tribe and with outside organizations!

Next week we will be traveling to Geary, Etta Dale (El Reno), and Roblyer (El Reno). We have a lot more schools scheduled for November so we will see you soon!
