"I am so grateful to all who had a hand in taking care of my mom. Your staff did a wonderful job in making sure that my mom was comfortable, safe, and cared for. To everyone, including those who washed her clothes and delivered them back to her closet; to those who washed her floors in her room and made sure her bedsheets were clean; to those in physical therapy who helped her exercise and enjoy some time being active; and to those in the kitchen who made her food so that she would have three good meals to eat each day. And to so many others that were present day in and day out."

We are thrilled to share that Aperion Care Fox River has received the 2026 Bronze Commitment to Quality Award from the American Health Care Association/National Center for Assisted Living! 🥉

Established by AHCA/NCAL in 1996, the National Quality Award Program is a rigorous three-level process reviewed and judged by trained experts using criteria based on the nationally recognized Baldrige Performance Excellence Framework. The Bronze Award demonstrates a strong commitment to quality care and continuous improvement to enhance the lives of residents and staff members.

Out of 893 long-term care providers across the United States and the District of Columbia, we are proudly one of 36 facilities in Illinois to receive this distinction, and now eligible to apply for the Silver Award next year!
