Congratulations to Juan Gasca, Maintenance Director, on celebrating 30 years of service at Aperion Care Elgin! 🎉

Juan first joined the building in 1996 after moving to Illinois from California. Starting as a laundry aide, he quickly took on additional positions as a delivery driver for laundry services and floor man, building a career defined by hard work and growth. Over the years, Juan advanced through housekeeping before becoming Housekeeping Manager, where he led both the Housekeeping and Laundry departments for nearly a decade. When the opportunity arose to step into maintenance, he embraced that role as well — managing housekeeping, laundry and maintenance all at once.

30 years later, Juan continues to embody impressive leadership, loyalty, resilience and an admirable work ethic. Coworkers describe him as hardworking, dependable, patient and inspiring, and residents appreciate the way he talks with them and how he makes time for others. His Administrator shared that he is the “best Maintenance Director I ever had” and that “he is a good dancer,” too!

Thank you Juan for 30 incredible years. Here’s to many more! 👏
