This past week, members of our Youth Coalition and staff had the incredible opportunity to attend Tennessee Teen Institute (TTI), and we returned home inspired, energized, and deeply proud of our young leaders.
TTI is so much more than a conference. It's a place where teens discover their voice, build confidence, develop leadership skills, and realize the power they have to create positive change in their communities. Throughout the week, our students stepped outside their comfort zones, formed meaningful connections with peers from across the state, participated in challenging discussions, and grew into stronger advocates for themselves and others.
The transformation that takes place at TTI is difficult to put into words. We watched students who arrived nervous and uncertain leave with newfound confidence, purpose, and a supportive network of friends who share their passion for making a difference.
As they bring these lessons and experiences back home, we're excited to see how they use their leadership, creativity, and compassion to strengthen our schools and community. The future is bright, and these teens are proof of that.
