Happy CA Day!

A little team appreciation post! 😊

My wife and I had some fun putting together surprise coolers for our amazing CAs and social media manager to celebrate National Chiropractic Health Assistant Day and Social Media Manager Day! We filled them with some of their favorite things: energy drinks and snacks. Just a small way to say thank you for everything they do.

We're so lucky to have a team that works hard, cares deeply about our patients, and helps make the clinic a fun place to be every day. Whether they're helping patients, keeping things running smoothly, or sharing helpful content online, they make a difference in more ways than they know.

We're grateful for each of you and all you do. Hope you enjoy the treats! You've earned them! 💙🙌

🧠 Exciting News from MP Health!

We've partnered with Brain Restore Centers to bring the Brain Restore Program to our community: a comprehensive, science-based approach to supporting brain health, cognitive function, and neurological recovery.

Do you struggle with:
✓ Brain fog
✓ Memory problems
✓ Difficulty concentrating
✓ Chronic fatigue
✓ Anxiety or depression
✓ Post-concussion symptoms
✓ Long-COVID brain symptoms
✓ Sleep disturbances

These symptoms may be linked to underlying neurological dysfunction.

Our Brain Restore Program begins with advanced testing, including brain mapping (qEEG), neurological evaluations, cognitive assessments, and functional medicine testing to help uncover what's really going on beneath the surface.

Our approach focuses on four key pillars of brain restoration:
1️⃣ Neuroenergetics
2️⃣ Brain Oxygenation
3️⃣ Metabolic Healing
4️⃣ Network Resetting

Together, these therapies are designed to support the brain's natural ability to heal, adapt, and function at its best.

If you or a loved one has been struggling with cognitive or neurological symptoms, we'd love to help.

Here are 3 natural ways to help reduce headaches:

✔️ Improve Neck & Spinal Alignment
Poor posture, tech neck, and tension in the neck can contribute to recurring headaches. Chiropractic care may help reduce tension and support proper nervous system function.

✔️ Stay Hydrated & Support Nutrition
Dehydration and nutrient deficiencies (like magnesium and B vitamins) are common headache triggers many people overlook.

✔️ Reduce Stress & Improve Sleep
Stress and poor sleep can overload the nervous system and increase muscle tension, both of which can lead to headaches.

If headaches or migraines are interfering with your daily life, our clinic takes a whole-body approach to identifying possible root causes and helping patients find lasting relief.

If you discover a tick bite, it’s important not to panic, but it is important to take the right steps.

1️⃣ Remove the tick properly using fine-tipped tweezers. Pull upward steadily and clean the area afterward.

2️⃣ Save the tick in a sealed bag or container in case you want it tested for Lyme Disease or other tick-borne infections.

3️⃣ Schedule an appointment — especially if the tick was attached for a long time or symptoms develop. Antibiotics may be recommended in some cases.

4️⃣ Monitor for symptoms like fatigue, fever, headaches, brain fog, joint discomfort, dizziness, tingling, or sleep issues.

5️⃣ Don’t ignore ongoing symptoms. Lyme Disease is often overlooked because symptoms can mimic many other conditions.

Our clinic offers testing options, evaluations, and customized care plans for patients dealing with Lyme Disease and chronic symptoms related to tick-borne illness.

Osteoporosis isn’t just a women’s health issue.

In fact, according to the International Osteoporosis Foundation, 1 in 5 men over age 50 will experience an osteoporosis-related fracture.

Bone loss can happen quietly over time, often without symptoms until a serious injury occurs.

This May for Osteoporosis Awareness Month, take a proactive step with a $50 Osteoporosis Scan (regularly $95).

Strong bones matter at every stage of life. Call MP Health to schedule your scan today: 574-218-6512

April is Parkinson’s Disease Awareness Month, a time to raise awareness and understanding of Parkinson’s Disease. 🌷

Parkinson’s disease is a progressive brain disorder that damages dopamine-producing neurons. Common symptoms include tremor, stiffness, slow movement and non-movement issues like depression or sleep issues.

According to the Parkinson's Foundation, here are 5 facts about Parkinson’s everyone should know:

1️⃣ Nearly 90,000 people in the U.S. are diagnosed with Parkinson’s each year.
2️⃣ Scientists believe a combination of environmental and genetic factors cause PD.
3️⃣ People with Parkinson’s experience both movement and non-movement related symptoms.
4️⃣ Symptoms can be managed through medications, lifestyle changes, exercise and in some cases, surgery.
5️⃣ Early-onset Parkinson’s disease occurs in people younger than 50 years of age.

At our clinic, we offer supportive care for patients with Parkinson’s with the goal of both slowing the progression of the disease and putting symptoms into remission as naturally as possible. Our approach focuses on supporting the body through targeted therapies, lifestyle strategies, and personalized care.

When the weather improves, we naturally spend more time walking, gardening, exercising, or doing yard work.

While this is great for overall health, it also increases exposure to environmental irritants like:

🌸 Tree pollen
🌸 Grass pollen
🌸 Dust and soil particles
🌸 Mold spores

These particles can enter the nasal passages and trigger allergies and inflammation in the sinuses.

To support your sinuses this season, a few simple habits can help:
✅ Shower and change clothes after spending time outdoors
✅ Wash bedding regularly during allergy season
✅ Keep bedroom windows closed during high pollen days
✅ Stay hydrated to help support mucus flow
✅ Use a saline rinse to help clear allergens from the nasal passages

If seasonal changes tend to trigger sinus congestion or pressure for you each year, it may be a sign your sinuses need additional support.
