There's nothing quite like the joy of live music!

Our residents recently had the pleasure of enjoying a special performance by some incredibly talented local musicians—and what a treat it was! From familiar favorites to toe-tapping tunes, the room was filled with smiles, singing, and plenty of applause.

How lucky are we to have front-row seats to such amazing local talent? We are so grateful to the musicians who shared their time and gifts with our community and helped create such a memorable afternoon.

Staying active doesn't always mean running a marathon—sometimes, it's as simple as a game of ring toss!

At Caraway Assisted Living, we believe physical activity should be fun, safe, and accessible for everyone. Our seated ring toss game keeps residents moving, encourages hand-eye coordination, and adds a little friendly competition to the day—all from the comfort and safety of their chairs.

There are plenty of cheers, lots of laughter, and just enough challenge to keep everyone coming back for another round.

Because staying active is about enjoying movement at every stage of life.

Poker faces were on full display at Caraway Assisted Living! ♠️♥️♣️♦️

Our residents love a good game of poker, and while there isn't any money on the line, the bragging rights are priceless! With plenty of laughter, laser focus, and just a little friendly competition, this "not-so-high-stakes" poker game is always a crowd favorite.

Every hand brings smiles, conversation, and a chance to sharpen strategy while enjoying time with friends.

Now for the big question... Who do you think is our best bluffer? 😉

It's not always about who wins the game—it's about who you're playing it with.

One of our residents' favorite ways to spend the afternoon is gathering around the table for a friendly game of cards. There are plenty of laughs, a little friendly competition, and lots of great conversation.

To make game time even more enjoyable, we use oversized playing cards that are easier to see, so everyone can focus on the fun instead of squinting at the cards!

At Caraway Assisted Living, it's these simple moments with good friends that make every day a little brighter.

What a wonderful way to celebrate America's 250th birthday! 🇺🇸

Earlier this month, Caraway Assisted Living hosted a special Independence Day Cookout, and we were thrilled to welcome more than 61 friends and family members to join our residents for an afternoon of delicious food, laughter, and patriotic fun.

From sharing great conversations to enjoying classic cookout favorites, it was a celebration to remember. We especially loved seeing some of our guests embrace the spirit of 1776 by dressing in their favorite colonial attire—it certainly added to the festive atmosphere!

We're excited to share a few of our favorite moments from this special day. Thank you to everyone who celebrated with us and helped make our nation's 250th birthday one our residents will always remember. ❤️🤍💙

Creativity was in full bloom at Caraway Assisted Living! 🌸

Our residents recently enjoyed a wonderful Floral Design Workshop led by Kelsey, a volunteer from our friends at Amedisys Hospice. From selecting the perfect blooms to arranging beautiful bouquets, everyone had a fantastic time expressing their creativity and creating gorgeous floral arrangements to brighten their rooms.

A heartfelt thank you to Kelsey for sharing her time, talent, and enthusiasm with our residents. Experiences like these bring smiles, spark conversation, and create lasting memories.

Our resident gardening expert, Ron, recently admitted he had never heard of a Candy Onion. Naturally, our team accepted the challenge! We tracked some down and treated Ron to a fresh tomato and Candy Onion sandwich.

The verdict? A huge hit!

It's moments like these—sharing stories, discovering something new, and creating smiles—that make Caraway feel like home. Here's to lifelong learning, great conversations, and even better sandwiches!
