Today we dropped off all of the donations our amazing clients brought in for Multiple Breed Rescue. We are so proud of being a part of the wonderful work that MBR does everyday and of our clients for answering the call to help out too β€οΈβπ©Ή Thank you to everyone who contributed in one way or another! Multiple Breed Rescue (MBR) is a foster-based rescue right here in the Elyria/Grafton area. While they do have a facility, their mission is to place dogs into loving foster homes as quickly as possible while they wait for their forever families.
What many people may not realize is just how much they doβand how proud we are to support them. Here at Elyria Animal Hospital, we provide a significant portion of their veterinary care because we truly believe in their mission.
β¨ In 2025 alone:
β’ 207 dogs were taken in at the farm
β’ 211 dogs were adopted into loving homes
β’ Since their founding, 3,727 dogs have been rescued
How amazing is that?!
πΈ Their major expenses in 2025 included:
β’ Veterinary care: $154,860.05
β’ Food: $15,131.83
β’ Medications: $9,409.54
β’ Supplies (dog, paper, office): $17,418.39
MBR is able to continue saving lives thanks to donations, fundraisers, grants, and an incredibly dedicated network of volunteers.
