Ever wonder how you're able to stand, walk, or even close your eyes without falling over? πŸ€”

Your balance isn't controlled by just one part of your body.

Your brain is constantly combining information from:
πŸ‘€ Your eyes
πŸ‘‚ Your inner ear (vestibular system)
πŸ’ͺ Your muscles and joints (proprioception)

When one of these systems isn't providing accurate information, the others often work harder to compensate. Depending on the cause, that can contribute to symptoms like dizziness, feeling unsteady, motion sensitivity, or poor coordination.

That's why, in our office, we don't just focus on the symptomβ€”we evaluate how these systems are working together to better understand what's contributing to the problem.

If you've been feeling "off" and haven't found answers, a comprehensive evaluation may help identify the next steps.

πŸ“± Your screen time might be taking a bigger toll on your neck than you realize.

Hours spent looking down at a phone or computer can place extra stress on the neck and upper back. Over time, that repetitive position may contribute to stiffness, muscle tension, headaches, and even pain that radiates into the shoulders or arms.

This patient came in with neck pain that was traveling into his shoulder after spending long hours on his phone and computer.

πŸŽ₯ In this video, we're taking you behind the scenes of his treatment session to show how we approached his care.

His treatment included techniques aimed at:
βœ”οΈ Improving neck mobility
βœ”οΈ Reducing muscle tension
βœ”οΈ Restoring healthy movement patterns
βœ”οΈ Addressing the source of his symptoms, not just where he felt the pain

While "tech neck" is becoming increasingly common, neck pain isn't something you should simply accept as part of your daily routine.

Small changes to your posture, work setup, movement habits, and the right treatment plan can make a big difference.

πŸ“© DM us "NECK" if you've been dealing with stiffness, headaches, or neck pain from long hours at a desk or on your phone. We'd love to help you get back to moving comfortably! 🫢

πŸ‘ƒ Breathing through one nostril shouldn't feel like a daily struggle.

This patient came to us with persistent difficulty breathing through her left nostril, along with ongoing pressure around her eye. Despite trying to find relief, her symptoms continued.

After a thorough evaluation, we performed a nasal specific technique - a gentle procedure used in select cases to help improve mobility of the nasal passages and surrounding structures.

πŸŽ₯ Watch her treatment and hear her immediate response.

After the procedure, she reported:
✨ About 15% improvement in breathing through her left nostril (This is the smallest percentage and worst case scenario...usually patients report 50-100% after the first treatment)
✨ A sensation that things were beginning to drain to holy moly give me that box of tissues!
✨ Feeling much more open than before treatment

Every patient responds differently, and one treatment doesn't guarantee the same results for everyone. That's why we start with a comprehensive evaluation to determine whether this technique is appropriate based on the individual's symptoms and examination findings.

If you've been dealing with persistent concussion symptoms like headache, brain fog, dizziness etc; chronic nasal congestion, difficulty breathing through one or both sides of your nose, or persistent facial pressure and haven't found the answers you're looking for, it may be worth exploring whether a structural or functional component is contributing to your symptoms.

πŸ“© DM us "BREATHE" if you'd like to learn more about our evaluation process and whether this technique could be appropriate for you.

From painful and restricted to moving more comfortably ✨

After experiencing trauma, this patient came in with jaw pain, limited opening, difficulty biting, and a noticeable shift in how the jaw moved.

Our examination revealed:
βœ”οΈ TMJ dysfunction
βœ”οΈ Uneven jaw movement with clicking
βœ”οΈ Restrictions in the upper cervical spine that were contributing to the problem

Treatment focused on restoring healthy movement in both the jaw and neck through targeted chiropractic care and TMJ-specific techniques.

The result? πŸ™Œ
✨ Improved jaw symmetry
✨ Less pain
✨ More comfortable biting and opening

The jaw and cervical spine work together more than most people realize. When one isn't moving well, it can affect the other, which is why we evaluate the whole picture instead of just treating where it hurts.

πŸŽ₯ Swipe through the video to see the before-and-after changes in jaw movement!

Shoulder pain doesn't have to be part of being a swimmer. πŸŠβ€β™‚οΈ

Swimming places thousands of repetitive overhead movements on the shoulders every week. Over time, even small movement restrictions or muscle imbalances can add up, leading to pain, stiffness, and decreased performance.

This swimmer came to us with shoulder discomfort that was impacting both training and recovery.

Take a look behind the scenes at what a treatment session can include. πŸ‘€

Our goal was to:
πŸ’₯ Reduce pain and irritation
πŸ’ͺ Improve shoulder mobility
🀸 Restore healthy movement patterns
πŸ™Œ Relieve muscle tension
🏊 Help him get back in the pool feeling and performing his best

Every athlete is different, which is why every treatment plan is tailored to the individual. We focus on identifying the root cause of the problem, not just treating the symptoms.

Whether you're training for competition or simply want to stay active without pain, taking care of your body today can help prevent bigger problems tomorrow.

Not all back or neck pain is created equal. πŸ‘€

If you've been dealing with pain that just won't go away, it's easy to assume you need more stretching, more rest, or to simply "live with it."

But sometimes the issue is that certain structures in the spine are under increased stress or pressure.

For the right patient, spinal decompression can be an effective, non-surgical treatment designed to gently reduce pressure on spinal discs and nerves while encouraging improved movement and comfort.

It may be considered for people experiencing:
βœ”οΈ Neck or back pain
βœ”οΈ Pain that travels into the arms or legs
βœ”οΈ Numbness or tingling
βœ”οΈ Symptoms that worsen with sitting
βœ”οΈ Disc-related conditions (when clinically appropriate)

The key is this: spinal decompression isn't for everyone.

That's why we always perform a thorough examination to determine what's actually causing your symptoms before recommending any treatment. Your care should be based on your diagnosis - not just your pain.

πŸ‘‰ Swipe through to see 5 signs you might benefit from spinal decompression and learn if it could be part of your path to recovery!

πŸ“© DM us "DECOMPME" if you're ready to find out what's really causing your pain and whether spinal decompression may be right for you.

Those circles aren't bruises, they're a normal response to the suction created during cupping therapy. πŸ‘€

So... what exactly is happening?

Cupping uses negative pressure (suction) to gently lift the skin and underlying tissues instead of compressing them. Researchers believe this can:
🩸 Increase local blood flow
🧠 Influence how the nervous system processes pain (neuromodulation)
πŸ’ͺ Reduce muscle tenderness and stiffness
πŸ› οΈ Create temporary changes in the tissues that may improve movement and comfort

The circular marks are caused by tiny blood vessels (capillaries) responding to the suction - not by blunt-force trauma like a typical bruise. They usually fade over several days to a couple of weeks, depending on the individual.

What does the research say? πŸ“š

Research suggests cupping may help reduce pain in the short term for some musculoskeletal conditions, especially when used as part of a broader treatment plan.

At our office, cupping isn't a one-size-fits-all treatment. It's simply one tool we may use alongside rehabilitation, chiropractic care, and movement-based therapies to help patients move and feel better.

Have you ever tried cupping? Let us know below! πŸ‘‡

POV: You finally tried the neck adjustment everyone's talking about... πŸ‘€πŸ€―

We started out with spinal decompression therapy to to gently create space within the spine to help reduce pressure on irritated structures and improve movement.

We then moved into this cervical spine adjustment. This gentle cervical traction adjustment can help improve movement, reduce pressure on irritated joints, and relieve tension that's been keeping your neck stiff and uncomfortable.

So if you've been living with:
⚑ Neck pain
πŸ’₯ Headaches
πŸ€• Stiffness
πŸ“ Pain that travels into your shoulders or arms
..it might be time to stop masking the symptoms and find the source.

πŸ“© DM us "NECK" to see if this treatment could be right for you!

πŸ‘€ Take a behind-the-scenes look at one of our neck treatment sessions.

Every patient who walks through our doors has a different story, which means every treatment plan is tailored to their unique needs.

In this session, you'll see a combination of chiropractic techniques used to help improve neck mobility, reduce joint restrictions, restore more comfortable movement, and peripheral nerve stimulation to help reset all the tight muscles around the neck. Depending on the patient's condition, treatment may include cervical traction, targeted chiropractic adjustments, and other therapies designed to support function and recovery.

Our goal isn't just to help reduce pain, it's to improve the way your body moves so you can get back to doing the things you love! 🫢

No two chiropractic visits look exactly the same because no two patients are the same.

That's why every treatment starts with a thorough evaluation and is based on your symptoms, examination findings, and individual goals.

πŸ“© Curious if chiropractic care could help you? Send us a DM - we'd be happy to answer your questions and help you take the next step toward feeling your best.
