Ever wonder how you're able to stand, walk, or even close your eyes without falling over? π€
Your balance isn't controlled by just one part of your body.
Your brain is constantly combining information from:
π Your eyes
π Your inner ear (vestibular system)
πͺ Your muscles and joints (proprioception)
When one of these systems isn't providing accurate information, the others often work harder to compensate. Depending on the cause, that can contribute to symptoms like dizziness, feeling unsteady, motion sensitivity, or poor coordination.
That's why, in our office, we don't just focus on the symptomβwe evaluate how these systems are working together to better understand what's contributing to the problem.
If you've been feeling "off" and haven't found answers, a comprehensive evaluation may help identify the next steps.
