The AHN Cancer Institute (AHNCI) at AHN Saint Vincent Hospital recently hosted a Patient Celebration Day at the Tom Ridge Environmental Center at Presque Isle. Designed specifically for AHNCI patients, the event included green screen movies, a DJ, a basket raffle, and many more fun activities. Thank you to all who joined us for our celebration day!

Rick and Jeff, friends and co-workers for 19 years, were both diagnosed with the same rare blood cancer within four months of each other. When Stephanie found out she had HELLP syndrome (a life-threatening pregnancy complication), she was rushed into an emergency C-section and gave birth to twins: Addison and Jackson. After a long stay in the NICU (68 days for Addison and 72 days for Jackson), they were able to safely go home. 💚

Stephanie said: “We couldn’t have done it without the support from Children's Miracle Network at AHN Saint Vincent. The twins are thriving at home, and their siblings absolutely love them!”
