Meet patient ambassador Paisley — a true Swiftie superstar! 🎶💖 Taylor Swift's music, combined with the incredible care from the Pediatric Orthopedic and Prosthetic Services (POPS) team at Shriners Children’s Erie, has helped Paisley build the confidence to thrive with her prosthetic leg.

When Paisley was 9-months-old, she was diagnosed with cancer and courageously underwent an amputation of her right leg. Today, she continues to inspire everyone around her with her strength, resilience and unstoppable spirit. 💪🌈

Today is World Clubfoot Day

Clubfoot is a condition where a baby’s foot appears twisted inward at the ankle. While clubfoot can run in families, it is not caused by anything done during pregnancy. In some cases, it may be associated with other conditions but often, it occurs on its own.

Clubfoot is a treatable condition. With options like casting, bracing and sometimes surgery, most children go on to live active lives with fully functioning feet. Care for clubfoot is available at Shriners Children’s Erie, where our team helps every child take confident steps forward.
