What a wonderful afternoon celebrating
Oktoberfest! Our Silvergate residents enjoyed traditional German music and dancing performed by the talented Gypsy Folk Ensemble, along with delicious Wienerschnitzel, sauerkraut, soft pretzels, and German b**r!

Yesterday we had an amazing Luau at Silvergate, complete with Hawaiian drinks, tropical appetizers and desserts.
SunDayGo joined us for the afternoon and played a great mix of music while residents danced and enjoyed the festivities. Between the hula dancers, residents hitting the dance floor and all the tropical touches, we had a pretty great afternoon in paradise right here at home.

Today we took a trip down to Mission San Luis Rey. We walked through the Mission, checked out the grounds, and spent some time looking at all the history there. Then it was off to Backdraft in Bonsall for lunch together. It was a great group to spend this beautiful day with!

We had such a nice evening in our Suites Memory Care neighborhood enjoying a spaghetti dinner together. A special thank you to Byrne and Harriet Newhart of Starlight Strings for making the evening even more special with their beautiful music. 🎼

Yesterday was a busy day for our Alzheimer’s Walk Fundraiser at Silvergate!

Yogurt Palace provided delicious frozen yogurt for us to sell, with a portion of the proceeds going toward our Alzheimer’s Walk fundraiser.

We also raffled off beautiful prayer quilts handmade by our one of our talented residents and we finished the day with Bingo for a Cause!

A HUGE thank you to Yogurt Palace for their generous support, to our wonderful resident who created the beautiful prayer quilts and to everyone who purchased, played, donated, and participated. We truly appreciate everyone who helped make the day a success and supported a cause that means so much to us. 💜

We had a wonderful Labor Day at Silvergate with music by Phil Leonelli and a delicious lunch prepared by Chef Phil with roasted chicken, Angus burgers and hot dogs.

Labor Day is also a perfect opportunity to recognize the people who help make Silvergate a very special place. We extend a heartfelt thank you to all of our Silvergate staff for the hard work, care, and dedication you bring each and every day. We appreciate all that you do for our amazing residents!

Last Thursday, our residents spent the day at the Del Mar horse races! They placed their bets, cheered on their horses, had a great lunch, and enjoyed all the excitement of race day. It was a great day to get out and enjoy one of San Diego's favorite traditions. 🐎

Step into Silvergate: Taste of Tuscany!

Our residents and guests thoroughly enjoyed an afternoon filled with the flavors and sounds of Italy. Chef Phil prepared an amazing pasta bar along with fresh salad, garlic bread, cannolis, and tiramisu, all served with a glass of Fallbrook w**e.

Brandon Andronesi brought the Italian experience to life with his accordion and beautiful Italian songs. The delicious food, wonderful music, and beautiful decor made this the perfect Italian experience for everyone here at Silvergate Fallbrook!

Yesterday's outing took us to beautiful
Canyon Lake! We enjoyed a tour around the community while Carie gave a great presentation filled with fun and interesting facts about Canyon Lake.

After our tour, we headed to Lodge on the Lake for a wonderful lunch overlooking the water. The food was delicious, the service was fantastic, and the beautiful views made it even better.

Our residents are already looking forward to going back!

We’ve been finding fun ways to beat the summer heat at Silvergate Fallbrook!

Residents made homemade no sugar ice cream in mason jars! They helped measure, mix, and shook it up themselves. Flavors included vanilla bean, rich chocolate cacao, and fresh strawberry.

They also enjoyed time outside to soak up some sunshine and cool off with a little water. Everyone relaxed with their feet in the water pool while Carie played guitar.

Ice cream, music, and a sunny afternoon made a great day here at the Silvergate Suites Memory Care Neighborhood!
