Sauna hat with grass still in it. Here’s why.

You’ve dialed in the protocol. Sauna, plunge, the temperature swings, the recovery. All of it precise. But the thing sitting on your head during the hottest part of it is usually the one detail nobody optimized.

I make mine from raw undyed wool, from small family farms in the Alps. No dyes, no treatments, nothing added. Undyed wool means nothing is released onto your skin in the heat, raw fiber breathes, treated fiber suffocates.

When wool is handled this lightly, a trace of the meadow stays in it. I could take it out. I’d rather not.

It won’t sync to anything. It won’t give you a score. It just does the one job it’s meant to do, the way it’s done it long before contrast therapy had a name.

Slides 1-3: These are my rich, dark undyed wool tones. You can see the direct link between the raw, carded mountain fleece and the finished hats.
Each one features a flexible standard fit of 56–62 cm (22–24.4 inches). Because the pure wool stays naturally flexible, the hat slowly shapes itself to your own head as you wear it.

Here you can see my softer, lighter neutrals like cream white and soft grey layered together. Because I never touch artificial factory dyes, the wool keeps its natural lanolin barrier completely intact to lock moisture deep inside your hair strands and protect your open skin pores.

Slides 5-6: I sculpt every single piece and create a thick, seamless, anatomical structure. No factory seams mean zero weak spots for intense steam to pierce through.
This tall shape leaves a hollow pocket of cool air right over your head to block dizziness, protect your ears, and cushion your nervous system if you jump straight into an ice plunge.

The quietest kind of luxury is what you don’t add.

This wool comes from sheep on small family farms in the Alps. I keep it undyed, only ever washed in water, the way it wants to be.

Sometimes a trace of the meadow it grew in stays in the fiber. I welcome that too.

Most materials give up the moment they meet cold water. Undyed Alpine wool doesn’t. It holds its warmth, softens the shock, and moves with you, from the heat of the sauna straight into the plunge, without missing a beat.
