Clinical Trials Day is celebrated annually on May 20 to honor the people who conduct medical research and the patients who participate in it. The day commemorates the start of the first randomized clinical trial by James Lind aboard a ship on May 20, 1747. Today we celebrate the science that saves lives!

📣 Research Volunteers Needed!
We’re currently enrolling participants in a clinical research study evaluating subjects with age-related cataract. This study is being conducted to evaluate how safe an eye drop investigational drug is for treating age-related cataract and to see if it might help improve visual function without cataract surgery.

You may be eligible if you:
• Are 50 years of age or older
• Have age-related cataract in one or both eyes without any other diseases affecting central vision
• Do not have a history of cataract surgery in the study eye or be planning to undergo cataract surgery during the study. You are allowed to have had cataract surgery in your non-study eye prior to study participation.
• Are able to attend 6 Visits over a 6-month period

Participants may receive compensation for time and travel.
