Listen, I don’t make the rules… 🤷‍♀️

If your dog’s name starts with this letter, the universe has spoken and it’s time to get them checked by an animal chiropractor. 🐾✨

But while you’re here, ask yourself:

✔️ Is your dog slowing down?
✔️ Struggling to jump on the couch or into the car?
✔️ More stiff after naps?
✔️ Hesitant on stairs?
✔️ Not moving quite like they used to?

Those subtle changes are often dismissed as “just getting older,” but they can be signs your dog could benefit from chiropractic care.

One of the biggest misconceptions I hear is that if chiropractic "works," one adjustment should fix everything.

But most of the dogs I see didn't develop their issues overnight.

Whether it's arthritis, an old injury, compensation patterns, or simply years of wear and tear, the body often needs time to heal and adapt. One adjustment can create change, but lasting improvements usually come from consistency.

And once a dog is feeling great, many owners choose to continue regular chiropractic care to help maintain mobility, comfort, and nervous system function as their pet ages.

Healing is a process. Thriving is a lifestyle. 🐾

This might be unpopular, but I don’t automatically reach for pain medications when one of my dogs is uncomfortable.

That doesn’t mean pain medications don’t have a place. If a dog is in severe pain, recovering from surgery, or truly needs relief, I’m incredibly grateful they exist.

But here’s my concern: pain serves a purpose.

Unlike humans, we can’t tell our dogs to avoid the stairs, stop chasing squirrels, or take it easy for a few weeks. Pain is often one of the only things limiting movement while the body heals.

When pain is masked too quickly, some dogs may continue moving in ways their body isn’t ready for.

Instead, my first approach is often to ask WHY the pain is there in the first place and what I can do to support the body’s healing process. That may include chiropractic care, rest, movement modification, laser therapy, rehab exercises, or other supportive therapies.

Every dog is different, and there is no one-size-fits-all answer.

My goal isn’t simply to cover up symptoms.
My goal is to help the body heal. 🐾

If I brought home a puppy tomorrow, these would be my non-negotiables. 🐾

Most people think about vaccines, food, and training—but there are so many little things that can influence a dog's posture, movement, and long-term joint health.

The good news? You don't have to do everything perfectly. Small habits repeated consistently over time can make a huge difference.

Which one surprised you the most?

And if you have a puppy at home, what would you add to this list? 👇

When Lucky first came in, he was paralyzed after a back injury. His family was worried, overwhelmed, and unsure what the future would hold.

Fast forward a few weeks, and now he's doing something that once seemed impossible: walking. 🍀

No two cases are the same, and healing doesn't always follow a straight line. But stories like Lucky's are a reminder that the body is capable of incredible things when given the opportunity to heal.

The luckiest cat in Knoxville? We think so. ❤️🐱

I started looking closer at what was actually in my dogs’ food after both of them eventually just stopped wanting to eat their kibble. 👀

The more I researched, the more I realized how many pet foods are heavily processed and filled with ingredients that are byproducts of the human food industry with synthetic vitamins and minerals added back in afterward because natural nutrients were lost during processing.

No diet is perfect for every dog, and every dog is different. But learning to read ingredient labels completely changed the way I think about pet nutrition.

What goes into the body matters. Every ingredient is either helping the body function better… or contributing to stress and inflammation over time. 🐾

I’d like to think they’re coming for the chiropractic care… but the treats might be carrying this business at this point 😂🐾

Only the best for pets in the office! Single ingredient treats are my absolute favorite so I can be sure there are no fillers, additives, or hidden ingredients.

Just like us, what goes into our dogs’ bodies matters. Every ingredient is either helping the body heal and thrive… or contributing to inflammation and disease over time. “Treats” shouldn’t come at the expense of your pet’s long-term health. Small choices add up. 🐾
