Happy Patient Appreciation day! Critters coffee is still here and sticking around for a bit for the afternoon to treat our patients with some complimentary coffee and drinks (even if you don’t have an appointment today or haven’t been by in a it!) Life is crazy. It’s busy, messy, chaotic—and sometimes it’s all of those things at once. 🤍

We have lots of tools in our chiropractic toolbox, and each one has a purpose!

This week, we used a tuning fork while assessing a patient who fell and presented with rib pain—which made us realize it's the perfect time to introduce you to this awesome tool! 🔔

A tuning fork can help us assess for possible bone injuries by evaluating how vibrations travel through the bone - it's quick and non- invasive During this patient's exam, the findings made us suspicious of a rib fracture. Unfortunately, ribs can't be put in a cast or brace, and some rib fractures can be difficult to see on an initial X-ray. In many cases, the best treatment is simply time, rest, and allowing the body to heal.

Every tool we use helps us gather more information so we can provide the best care possible.
