Hi, I'm Lois Stinogel, the current president of the PioneerCare Auxiliary. We used to be called the Ladies Auxiliary but we do have a gentleman in our group now and I'm pretty sure he wouldn't mind some company. We are looking for more members.

We manage the Dragonfly Gift shop located in the main lobby at Pioneer. Our proceeds help to enhance the residents stay at Pioneer by funding special needs that are not part of the general budget.

We also assist with the yearly family picnic and a resident shopping day at Christmas time as well as special fundraising. We also do scholarships for future healthcare workers.

We meet the first Wednesday of each month at 11 am. except June & December.

Please consider being a part of this much needed group. No experience needed but we usually get first chance at the new items in the gift shop!!!

𝗡𝗼𝘄 𝗛𝗶𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮 𝗖𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿, an RN who coordinates and directs the nursing activities of a designated unit at PioneerCare and works with adult and geriatric residents. The RN Care Coordinator is responsible for the professional assessment and coordination of care needed for the residents of a neighborhood, nursing staff and overall operation of the neighborhood to ensure a high standard of quality care. Coordinates care provided by other members of the health care team, makes referrals for follow-up care and consults with physicians and others to provide individualized care. The RN Care Coordinator supports and assures the policies and procedures of PioneerCare are adhered to and is responsible and reportable to the Director of Nursing in coordinating the total care of residents. This is a Full Time position - 40 hours a week, Monday-Friday 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. There is also an every 8th weekend On Call rotation. PioneerCare officially broke ground on May 6, 2026, on a major new community initiative to expand access to high-quality, affordable child care in Fergus Falls. Through a broad partnership with Fergus Falls Area Habitat for Humanity, community leaders, businesses, foundations, faith partners, and local donors, the project will help bring up to 70 new child care slots to the region over the next three years. Fergus Falls is short nearly 400 child care slots...today is the start of one community-built solution. Six neighborhood-style pods are being built to accommodate 60-70 kids.
