Betty Crocker eat your heart out! We had another resident cooking class today. This time Mrs. Diane makes her favorite Chocolate Chocolate Chip. Sour Cream Cookies! Residents and team members loved them so much, they were asking for them on a regular basis! Her daughter even drove down from Winnemucca for the event! Thank you Diane for sharing this with us all

Some love stories continue to inspire us.

On July 25, our resident John set out for a special Polaris ride with members of his family as part of our Ageless Dreams day.

During the day, our team learned that it marked what would have been his wife's 90th birthday,and the two shared 64 years of marriage.

The plans quickly shifted, and the ride became something even more meaningful. With the support of Carson City, John and his family traveled together to the Northern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery to honor her memory.

When John learned where they were going and how they were getting there he said through tears:

“That would make her smile.”

We are grateful that this Ageless Dream created space for adventure, family connection and a beautiful tribute to an extraordinary love story.

Our residents enjoy staying active through our cycling and dance classes, where movement is paired with fun, laughter, and social connection. Regular physical activity is especially important as we age, helping to improve strength, balance, flexibility, and overall well-being while supporting independence. Whether pedaling to upbeat music or dancing with friends, every movement is a step toward a healthier, happier lifestyle. We are proud of our residents for embracing these opportunities to stay active and live life to the fullest!

Nothing beats a picnic on a beautiful day. Residents got to relax by a beautiful pond and enjoy a picnic lunch provided by our dining staff!

Ageless Dream Alert!!! Ms Stacy misses her outdoor activities, but with the generous donation from Ridezillas in Carson City, David and Alex Russell, we not only made her dream come true but also gave the opportunity to our residents to go off road in a Polaris Razor. Everybody including residents, team, and even a few family members had a wonderful time!

Our wonderful therapy dogs stopped by for their weekly visit, bringing smiles, comfort, and plenty of tail wags to our residents. Their visits are something everyone looks forward to each week!🐾❤️
