Cardiac Surgical Unit Advanced Life Support (CSU-ALS) training prepares all providers in the management of cardiac arrest using the evidence-based protocol specific to resuscitation after cardiac surgery. The course consists of a combination of brief didactic sessions and hands-on practice with resuscitation equipment during realistic cardiac surgery simulations of acute post-operative patient decompensation.
