🌻💙Something Beautiful for the Soul🌻💙

We partnered with Amanda Byrd of Something For Your Soul/Soul Boutique in downtown Tiffin to create beautiful sunflower charcuterie boards! 🌻

Amanda guided us step-by-step as we gathered around the table, learning how to arrange our fresh ingredients into beautiful edible works of art. Along the way, we shared wonderful conversation about the many ways food brings people together, creates meaningful connections and makes lasting memories. 🩵

One of the sweetest parts was reminiscing about the dinner tables of our childhood, the meals we shared, the traditions we remember, and the special moments that still warm our hearts today. Sometimes, the best ingredient is simply good conversation and the company of others! 😍
To top off our experience, we enjoyed a cozy cup of cinnamon spiced apple c***r with a pumpkin spice marshmallow and a cinnamon stick. The perfect autumn finishing touch! 🍎

A heartfelt thank you to Amanda and Something For Your Soul for sharing your creativity, talent, and love of bringing people together through food. We loved every minute of this special experience and enjoyed the beautiful sunflower creation and even sweeter memories! 🌻

🥁Drumming up fun at Brookdale Findlay🥁

Yesterday’s cardio drumming class was a blast! We worked on the 3 C’s: Cardio, Coordination and Concentration! 💪 🧠 From learning new drumming patterns and trying them with our eyes shut, to tapping our sticks while lifting our legs, we discovered that cardio drumming is truly a full-body workout! 🥁 🦵 Who knew we could have so much fun while keeping our bodies moving and our minds sharp?

There were plenty of beats, big smiles, and lots of laughs along the way. We’re keeping our bodies active, our minds engaged, and our spirits happy – one beat at a time! 🥁⭐️

Rustic charm and pumpkin spice! 🍂🎃

Our weekly craft class was full of fall fun as we created the cutest rustic wooden pumpkins! 🧡
These little pumpkins have a special story.

Our wooden blocks were made by Peter from a recycled old bench, cut down to size, hand-sanded, and drilled to hold a cinnamon stick right on top! We learned a NEW technique this week, using rub on fall phrases, and everyone had fun picking out their favorite sayings. We topped them off with multicolored Rafia and a cinnamon stick that smelled absolutely amazing! 🍂🧡🍂

From choosing the perfect phrase to the wonderful smell of cinnamon filling the room, it was such a fun way to welcome the fall season. No two pumpkins were exactly alike, and that’s what made them so special!🍁

🐴💙A Very Special Visit with Chase💙🐴

We had the sweetest visit with seven-year-old Chase, an Appaloosa gelding from Mini Wish Equine Wellness! ⭐️🐴

Chase brought so many smiles to Brookdale Findlay, and for many of our residents, his visit brought back wonderful memories of horses they had growing up. There were lots of stories and memories shared as everyone enjoyed spending time with this handsome boy. ❤️

From his beautiful braided tail to his personalized horseshoes, Chase had everyone admiring just how special
he is. 😍 Everyone loved petting him, and soaking in his calm, gentle presence.

Mini Wish Equine Wellness creates opportunities for genuine human connection through the calming presence of miniature horses – and we certainly felt that connection during our visit.💙🐴💙

A huge thank you to Karen and Tom Moses for giving us such a special time with Chase. We absolutely loved our visit and can’t wait to see him again. ❤️🐴❤️
