I Had Other Plans for This Fall… 💗

On July 1, 12 years after my first breast cancer diagnosis, my annual mammogram found a new cancer in the same breast.

It’s small. It’s Stage 1A DCIS, HER2-positive. My mastectomy is scheduled for September 16, and we’re hopeful surgery will be all I need.

As Executive Director of Breast Cancer Recovery for the past 10 years, I’ve seen firsthand how much women need a safe place to heal, connect, and feel understood.

That's why this mission means even more to me now.
