This summer, Mission Respite proudly provided 51,443 hours of respite care to children with disabilities across Wisconsin. That’s an incredible 559 hours of care every single day from June 1st through August 31st!
Throughout the summer, 484 part-time Respite Companions helped create meaningful experiences, lasting connections, and fun summer memories for our Incredible Kids.
From swimming and summer camps to zoo trips, playground adventures, and everything in between, these hours represent children learning from new experiences, families receiving valuable support, and individuals making a difference in their communities.
To our Respite Companions: THANK YOU! Your dedication, compassion, and enthusiasm are what make this possible. And to our families, thank you for trusting us, supporting our growth, and allowing us to be part of your children's lives.
We are incredibly proud of what we've accomplished together and grateful for every person who has helped bring Mission Respite to where it is today.
