At Mission Respite, we pride ourselves on developing lasting relationships with families and Respite Companions by bringing them together with a common goal of supporting a child with special needs.

Get ready to dance, celebrate, and have a spooktacular time at our FREE Halloween Dance Party! 🎃

Join DSAW–South Central and SibShop for an evening filled with music from a DJ, dancing, crafts, and a delicious dinner.

Individuals with Down syndrome and related disabilities, along with their friends and families, are invited to celebrate with us on Saturday, October 17, from 4:30–7:00 PM.

Everyone is encouraged to wear a costume! We'll also have a Red Carpet Walk where anyone who wants to show off their costume—or simply enjoy their moment in the spotlight—is welcome to participate.

This FREE event will be held at the Ho-Chunk Community Center

We are incredibly grateful to 1901 Inc for supporting Mission Respite’s inaugural Heart of Caregiving Retreat and helping us create a weekend dedicated to caring for those who spend so much of their lives caring for others.

On October 10–11, parents and primary caregivers of children with special needs will come together at The Osthoff Resort for a weekend of rest, connection, encouragement, and renewal.

Caregiver burnout is real. For some of the parents joining us, this will be their first vacation or time away since their child with special needs was born. Support from businesses like 1901 Inc. helps us make this weekend even more meaningful and reminds our caregivers that their community sees them and values all they do.
